Voluum is not counting visits properly ( 70 link clicks on fb 450 visits Voluum)

All started today when I realize that one of my lander ( really simply lander that usually has like 80% ctr) started getting 12% ctr.

That was really weird so I start changing things but nothing worked.
At the end I realized that FB sent me only 72 clicks and I had 450 visits in Voluum . I know that some of them could be organic traffic but not all. That´s should be why my lander has extremely low CTR.
Anyone knows what´s going on? Is there any way of filtering this fake traffic?
PS- I´m using a custom domain.

Help please!

Do you use any other analytics tool (Google Analytics) to see what are the referrals who brought the traffic? Keep in mind that FB data might be late at times though I have a feeling the discrepancy is too big for that to happen.

I am running into the same issue with Voluum and Facebook on a couple of my campaigns. Yesterday on 1 campaign, I am showing around 170 clicks on FB, about 160 sessions on Analytics, and about 1700 visits according to Voluum. I have some instagram ads and the click/visits numbers are pretty close. My best guess would be it is due to Facebook, probably pre-loading the landing page for the user.

It is the way FB is sending you Android clicks..... if you look in your Voluum it is all Android, chrome mobile browser. It started happening in early February.

I have noticed it only does this with certain types of ads as well, if you are doing Post Engagement Ads with a clickable image... the amount of clicks Voluum shows in 5X what FB actually sends. If you are using an image post with a link you get more accurate results. So it is mostly selected ad types and how FB renders the traffic to you from androids. I have also noticed over the past 30 to 45 days the costs per actual click and reach has been up and down like a new brides pajamas.

It's FB.... don't lose your mind over this, I have for a month and it was not worth it in the end.. They will get it all cleared up eventually and we will get our ROI back.

its because facebook prefetches/preloads your links for every user in an effort to speed up load times.

Blaming external factors immediately isnt a good mentality.
