8+ Years Exp in IM - Looking for Expert Advice

Hi Guys

Myself Travis, and I have 8+ years of experience in Internet Marketing industry. I am currently in service business where i provide SEO/PPC/Social Media/Web Development/Graphic Design services to Canadians. I have a team of 50+ people in India, so manpower is not a problem for me. Now, I want to start my Affiliate Marketing Business., i came to know STM is a great forum to get expert advice, please help me where i should start. I have following things-

1) Manpower
2) Access to affiliate account - Sellhealth, Markethealth, Maxbounty, Allaboveoffers
3) Access to SEM Rush, Spyfu, IBP, Woorank.
4) Knowledge of Google PPC/SEO/Bing PPC/Facebook PPC
5) $5000 investment to start and can expand if everything looks positive.

I am fine with partnership as well, i can provide free manpower and equally spend money on the system if somebody wants to. If somebody have experts advice please let me know where to start.

-Travis

Honestly, I'd recommend starting in the same place as any new affiliate - follow one of our guides (the Getting Started Guide or the Mobile Cookbook), get the basics down, and expand from there.

You've got a number of great advantages - having a team with web experience will really help - so you should be able to get going pretty rapidly.

Given your existing experience with Facebook, that's probably a good place to start, although I'd recommend doing it on a secondary account - don't risk your main client campaigns, given FB sometimes takes the banhammer to even white-hat campaigns. Zeno has written an extensive guide to FB and affiliate work - http://stmforum.com/forum/forumdispl...el-Guide-to-FB - whilst you'll know a lot of it already it should assist you to rapidly convert that knowledge to affiliate campaigns.

I'd probably also recommend starting accounts with a fair number of other affiliate networks to give yourself the best chance - split-test offers between them ruthlessly. Given your background you shouldn't have trouble getting accounts with pretty much any affiliate network!

And finally, I'd recommend starting a Follow-Along Thread. Particularly given your existing assets, I imagine you're looking for a fast start, and seeking advice with a Follow-Along is a great way to shorten the initial learning curve.

Good luck, and I look forward to hearing how you get on.

Yes like Caurmen says, you have a number of advantages to get going. It is still a world of change (I come from pretty much exact same skills background as you) and there is still a huge learning curve, but your PPC experience and knowledge of web design will help with optimizing campaigns and landers.

Feel free to apply to F5 too, http://f5mlogin.com/affiliate_signup.aspx, mention Eoin in the referral section and I'll streamline your application and help you get set up

Good luck with your journey!
