Call Retargeting?

Would an automated way of re-targeting potential clients (i.e. people with high intent to purchase.. or at least engage in an conversation) be useful to u guys? For example, potential customers call, you misses call or gets droppped (or call duration not long => i.e. missed sale) => ad shows up on on Facebook / Twitter / Youtube, asking to call back or to be called back.

I was working on a side project, would love to hear your feedback: http://www.ringunit.com/

How would this work? I'm guessing only if the number they called from was linked to a social service (and that number is publicly searchable). Or are you going about it another way? or am I missing the point?

Either way, sounds like a cool idea, if the client went to the effort of calling they'd be a much higher re-target value than non-callers. Could see this working well in a few high value client niches.

@bobliu: It's based on their call ID. If it's landline, the number can be searched.. except it would always show the account holder, not necessarily the person that called. Since we're using call ID, we can target to the person that called.

You can currently do FB custom audience on phone numbers but there's no automated way of doing it. Not to mention, it's quite impossible segment from missed calls, short duration calls, etc. As far as GDN/Youtube/Twitter, that's the secret magic sauce!

When I used this , (in some verticals) the call-back rate was like 70%. Power of retargeting.. unbelievable. CPA was ridonculously low.

An issue I can see is that they might not be interested in that business and might call another service/company. What about retargeting with a different offer, same type of service? Would love to hear how this is going
