Problem to be accepted by affiliate network

Hi guys,
I need some help to start this new adventure for me..
I totally a newbie in the AM but I have to start somewhere...
I'm just trying to follow the Appetiser guide but when I tried to sign up for F5 Media my demand had been rejected
(obviously because I have no experience).
I got a personal domain www.groppelli.com (that is my surname) where I uploaded the template suggested by Zeno ( http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...der%20Template).
Is there anybody who can give me some hints?

Thank you guys..

Humbert

Turn the personal website into a company one and focus more on marketing and what you do.
I'm not surprised you've been rejected though - your website has some typos!

"Hi everybody. Welcome to my persoal website. "

Hi Humbert! Read this thread - it should help you:

http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...-First-Network

Don't be discouraged by the rejection! Just keep applying and you'll get accepted by some networks. After that you can get some experience and then apply to others. You only need a couple of good networks to get started.

In this industry everyone will experience rejections - when we apply to affiliate networks and traffic networks, and when we set up campaigns at traffic networks. It's never personal. Simply keep trying and doors will open.

If after applying to 10 affiliate networks, you don't have at least 3 that accept you - hit me up via PM and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks bobliu, vortex for your replies
I will correct and turn my personal site in a company one.

As for applying to more than one networks..
I can choose some of the networks suggested in this forum..for newbie.
I think that there is no difference if I choose a network different from f5 media for the appetiser tutorial..
Is that correct?

Thank you

Absolutely correct! F5 is a great network, but there are many others.

Signing up to several networks is great, in that you'll get suggestions from several affiliate managers, and also have more offers to split-test. Even the same offer available on different aff networks can have different performance, so it's always good to split-test.
