How to control conversion rate (CR)?
Hello,
This is my first post.
I want to ask how can i control my CR? or is there any strategy to get CR like we want?
The case is, currently i running the campaign, and the CR is around 5%, but my AM didn't like it.
She wants CR around 2-3% due to offer requirement.
So, any idea how can i decrease the CR?
i using Facebook Ads as my traffic source with daily budget 100$/day. and the offer payout that i currently running is 0,45$/conversion.
Thank you

You cannot control a CR, it will fluctuate based on many factors like day/time of day, etc. People react, and act differently. It is possible however to dial in a CR range; which can be done via optimization.

thanks for your reply

.
So what can i do, if my AM ask me to decrease the CR?
Btw i just did one strategy that i know from my friend, that strategy is to split the traffic with the same offer at different network. have you ever heard trick like that?
thanks in advance

You can always send cheap redirect/pop traffic to the same offer to decrease the CR%.
Or whatever cheap traffic source you have that is not against the rules set by the advertiser.

If you have 5% CR and you want to have 2-3% CR you can "manipulate" the CR by adding traffic sources that naturally have a lower conversation rate such as pop up/under traffic

How about you take your traffic to some other network that actually cares about the quality of the traffic and can reward you for it? I dont understand why anyone would complain about CR being too high when they can verify the legitimacy of the conversions? It can look suspicious to them, but the advertiser certainly has the tools to check the quality on their end... this sounds a bit weird to me

yes, i think so!
i ask the same questions to my AM, but she said the advertiser afraid with fraud traffic, like double installs or fake user and some other fraud activity.
I think the same with you, in the end they can check my traffic quality.
thanks for the answer btw

Well, sometimes its pointless to call for logic and looks like this is the case

So if they want lower CVR, give it to them

Send some cheap traffic to the offer via a directlink and the CVR will go down

But make sure they accept the traffic type, some dont want popunders for example and those would be the cheapest for you to use. Oh and dont send too much, so they dont start to complain about too low CVR this time
