I'm looking for a script to easily collect emails via aweber within facebook pages. i know aweber alone would do the job but maybe someone knows a better solution?

my plan is to collect emails first and then send them a link to a "news style page" in the email. anybody done this before?

are you lookin for just an email capture/optin via the page? aweber does good job at it. I have done this multiple times. I usually do a gateway then show them the optin form.

Do you want a facebook connect, facebook register or just an optin form? I have some code for the first two. For just an optin form just use the standard aweber one.

Nice. Haven't heard but I use a fb connect as well to capture leads. Seems fbfist is out of stock

It's pretty simple actually, well really I just have my developer do it but it takes her like 5 minutes. I'm not showing any of you bloodsuckers my landers, my path is too legit to be outing but something like this: http://www.facebook.com/ShopAtHome?s...97280283636821 you just create an app and tie in your icontact/mailchimp whatever code.

And as far as drhfm's question, I get away with a lot more initially on fan pages but I still get accounts and pages banned all the time in the end, how quick depends on how aggressive they are.

FBML is always an option but I like the idea of the app more as it looks more legit..

FBML is on the way out so i would not use that.

You can use the FB JS API to popup a Facebook Authorisation dialog like you get with the Facebook Dating Apps and pull the email, gender, name, dob from that.

Thats what fbfist does, but there are a couple of others like fboptin.

I also so a wordpress one of facebook ads a while pack but didnt capture the URL. Will post it if I see it again.

Its actually not that hard for a coder to do as long as they understand the FB API. Should take someone like that maybe 1, max 2 hours to pull a script like that together.

I have several I use that I developed myself but they were for specific projects so I dont wanna share those.

I'd say no. It's 50/50 for me whether its my own domain or fb domain, but a lot of others tell me yes.
