I'll go straight to the question:
Is it possible to work in AM without being a company or a sole trader?
Here why I ask this:
I'm from Italy and here there is no fixed regulation for digital marketing is general, It's all a lot vague.
I really want to work in AM and I'm studying here in the forum but the problem is with the affiliate networks.
Every affiliate networks i tried to join needed a Tax ID and my company name.
The problem is that setting up a company here in Italy even for an individual like me, has a lot of costs that added to the testing budged for AM is a huge money loss.
I have money saved and I have a stable job already but I want to live the life I want and I am willing to take this risk, balancing the times for my daily job and AM.
The only thing that I would like to do is trying out this field for the first months without going in bankruptcy.

The majority of affiliates start out without setting up any of the business side. As long as you declare profits when they go over a certain threshold you should be fine. And when you're profiting the business expenses won't be an issue.
ciao @davidecrapa metti nome compagnia tal dei tali inizialmente , poi se vedi che i profitti saranno regolari nel tempo ti regolamenterai di conseguenza, molte fonti di traffico trattengono gia' l' iva se sei privato. ID o VAT e' richiesta da alcuni track o spionaggio , ma inizialmente puoi fare con numero di CF.
