Best Way To Promote Cam Offers? (21)

Hey guys just curious on how you guys promote Cam Offers? I know a lot of people use pop-unders as a way to do it as sort of a "secondary offer" to catch traffic, but what if you wanted to promote it as your main offer?

Do you guys use something like a rules lander or a landing page?

not all the advertisers will like this method (from experience) but back in the days when we dealt with Cam offers we saw that chat traffic worked the best.

obviously this method have a lot of problems like fraud and misleading info so i dont recommend this method.

PPV and display on adult site will work the best for you.

I'm not trying to get banned from this offer so would you say probably just banner display on Tube sites would be the way to go?

Also do you think I should use a landing page or just try to find some cheap traffic and direct link?

I am not sure what sort of landing page I would use if I were to use one though, any help is appreciated.

@jabong82 - I don't run cams, but I'd assume that like most other verticals, landers will work better than no landers.

There have been a few other threads about cam offers in the past - have a search and see what turns up!

One question - why are you specifically interested in pushing cam sites? Other adult offers frequently do better.

I was just thinking of trying something different as I haven't been really having much success with the usual dating offers.

It seems that conversion rates are dropping and traffic prices keep going up.

So just wanted to try something new, but don't really see too much info on promoting cam offers

As far as using landers, I'm not sure what a "Cam Lander" would look like as I have never seen one before. Would love to see an example!

I run chat traffic. Lots of offer hopping, hard to get traffic, quality issues and 10% chargeback rates. It is a headache and I don't suggest it.

Ok yeah I guess Cam offers maybe better just for pop unders or something.

You see tons of Pops that are bought from the companies directly for branding reasons. Dont compare yourself with them.

If you want to push cams on the regular tube traffic, save your money and put it elsewhere. The same goes for paysites. There is a reason why dating dominates those spots. Not even the cam site owners or paysite owners can compete with dating in these spots, it simply doesnt convert that well there. If you see a cam site or paysite being promoted on an adult site, its because its the site owner itself pushing it because he gets the traffic for free or he sold the spot directly to a cam site or paysite owner - waiving the commision of the traffic network. Or its traffic noone else wants to buy so they take it for a minimum cost. Keep in mind Im still talking about the regular tube sites - of course other types of sites can sell both cams or dating - so if you ever want to try it, go for smaller niched sites with SEO traffic.

Cam site owners have their own media buying teams who buy whatever popunder traffic they can get their hands on, you cant compete with them too, so I wouldnt try hard there too. I remember when I was selling them pops on my own sites, for about double the rate I could make with exoclick - so go figure

The crackrevenue landers - I tried to push it, it wasnt converting on paid traffic. Crak is aimed at site owners who dont do mediabuying but rather run their own sites, those people very often dont realize the real value of their traffic and will settle for less

If you ever decide to try cams on paid traffic, make sure you push revshare - thats where the value is, you need to fish for the whales = guys who fall in love with some cam model and spend THOUSANDS of $$$ with them, yes its possible If revshare scares you, then pick at least some massive PPS that gives you about $200 per paid member. I would also target unusual sites with organic seo traffic, niched to the bone - not the traditional free tubes for sure.

Its still possible, but not by going to the highly competitive tube sites.

Everyone has adult dating these days, so whatever network you pick, they will surely have something to try.

I made six figures profits from owning cam sites years ago. Trick was to rank for long tail and create custom white labelled niche cam sites for these kws. If id have to do it with paid id go and pop the cam sites over sites which rank for niche long tails using ppv.

Cam offers work best on chat traffic, pop traffic and obviously on adult traffic.

We have a lot of cams and adult/adult dating offers live in our network. Big majority of all affiliates that run them, keep on running them long term which I assume means ROI is positive for them

Read the answers above, general tube traffic will not work in this case, you need to buy better quality traffic.
