San Francisco STM Meetup

Hi everyone,

I am looking to setup a regular meetup in San Francisco for stack that money members
I need to get an idea of how many people would be interested in attending on a regular basis

I met a few STM’ers at the STM Party at Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas last month there seems to be enough interest in putting this together

I am looking at holding the meetups at a coworking space in san Francisco so we have use of projectors, whiteboards, wifi, conference tables,etc

The format would be similar to other meetups including
Looking at getting sponsors for the meetups to help with presenting topics and providing snacks and drinks for attendees

In addition to the meetup I would like to create a skype SF Mastermind group to exchange information on a ongoing basis for people in the bay area

Initially these meetups could be once a month but it is also possible to do more frequent meetups in SF around different topics the plan is to use a selected coworking space to regularly meet both formally and informally . Could sponsor a STM coworking day once a month where everyone could work in the space together 1 or more days a month

If those who are interested can either reply in this thread or private message me along with your location I can get everything setup there are plenty of great co-working spots that are near BART to make it easy for everyone to get to and from the location

If you have suggestions for topics, skill levels, meeting locations etc please let me know

Maybe best would be to organize this meetup when Appsworld North America is taking place. I'm sure a lot of affiliates will be in town then.

I thought there would be more interest than this i guess i was wrong I'm surprised i thought there was a lot more STM users in the Bay Area that would want to meet

^^ There are a tonne of STMers in the Bay Area, it's probably best to introduce yourself before hosting a meet up.

I think that there will be an official STM meet up in San Fran around May or June so maybe wait till then?

Would it be possible to organize the meetup around 11-12 May which is when Appsworld is taking place. I'm sure a lot of non-SanFran residing STM members will be in town during those days.

Looks like you are in luck. As per this site http://meetups.stmforum.com/home, there will be an STM local networking event in both NYC and SF.
