Hi, does anyone notice weird fluctuations in the size of Video Completed audiences? Here's one I did recently. I ran an ad for 1 day then paused it. The VC audience started at size of 40, then went down to 0, then up to 100, then down to 30 where it has frozen at. I even had one that pretty much did the same thing, except it stayed at 100 for a bit, but then after two days the size went to 0 where it's froze! I'm trying to build retargeting lists but are these Video Completed audiences even reliable?
Not sure, but you're going to want well over 100 to do much useful with them. 100 is the bare minimum for a lookalike audience and even then, I would aim for much higher if it is simply video views.
Thank you for your reply. I'm just testing the waters with small campaigns to see what the cost per pixel is. I want to build up nice sized lists. But I don't want to pay $200 to build a list of 1,000, only to have the list go to 0 in a couple days because there's weird technical issues on FB's end with this. I think they've been making changes to the Video Completed audience because there used to be a min. requirement to save this audience, 1k views in 24 hrs I believe. The min. limit appears gone now.
Also regarding you stated it's simply video views. This is a list of those who watched 95% of the video - pretty qualified. That's just as good or better as a pixel from someone visiting your website to retarget, wouldn't you think?
