Give A Dog A Bone ...

Hey guys,

I'm loving this forum already since joining yesterday, definitely a worth while investment for sure

I have a question that i would love some experienced opinions on if you will, basically i have experience and knowledge in a number of areas online and i am by no means a newbie, over the years i have made some decent income from various strategy's such as FB traffic and display ad niche sites, solo ads, local business websites and SEO etc ....

Well my niche sites were going rather well up until 1st january when my profit decreased by 50%, long story short i still run these sites but have decided to keep them on the back burner for later and see if i can enter the CPA marketing world and get me some of these weekly payments that would help no end

I have all tools i need, VPS, tracking etc, everything in place.

I have a budget of $5000 for traffic and the time to invest to make sure im testing what i need to as well as learn what i need to, so bit long winded i know, but if it were you in this position - What area would you been inclined to invest both your time and money? Mobile? PPV, PPC - CPA, CPL, CPS etc?

Basically throw me a bone! I dont need hand holding but just a direction to head from experienced marketers would be invaluable, look forward to hear some of your opinions, until then im off to read the copious amount of Golden Nuggets to be found in this here forum!

Thanks guys!

Hi Danny,

There is no definite answer to this question.

However, I would advise you to go with something you feel like you would like to work with and can interest you (dont go with adult if you dont like to work with this niche).

If I understand correctly and you are relatively a beginner with CPA, I recommend to start with CPL offers like Sweepstakes. They are going well with PPV or Social traffic and you can find such offers in many many GEOs.

Good luck!

Have you read through our 2015 guide to what's working? That'll give you a good idea of where to start.

It's still mostly accurate in 2016 - I'll be updating it in a few months, but I haven't seen any major changes. The only thing I'd add right now is that native is the big up-and-coming traffic source right now, and so may be worth your time - but be aware there isn't as much information out there so you'll have to figure more out yourself if you go that route.
