So- looking to get into some good ol' PIN submits as recently I've been getting mobile traffic for cheap (?) I remember paying anywhere from 7 - 10 cents a click, while now a couple of campaigns are reaching 2 - 3 cents a click... FB traffic looks pretty ideal for some good 15 - 20 eur offers. Anyone here got experience running PIN submits on facebook? INSTAGRAM? Man I'd love to try insta with some 'get the new iphone7' angles.
Usually you'll need carrier targeting for pins. Especially in Europe and other Tier1 countries.
FB has no carrier targeting, so you can only run geos like MX ZA VN and maybe PL where MO/MT flow works on major carriers and you just can run wifi mix to pins.
Other opportunity is to run very hot pins and split traffic on tracker (converting carrier on pin flow and all other traffic to something else like app install etc), but there are many issues and campaign will not be too easy to optimize.
Sure you'll need cloacker to run pins and don't forget about negative feedbacks for subscriptions. Accounts bans could happen too often
In the past i had a lot of pin submits trough my organic website. I want to try it with Facebook too.
But i hear it's dangerous because the ban hammer will appear :P I only have 2 accounts.
The "Get the new iPhone 7" angle sounds sounds very nice. Would like to stay updated with your pin submit conquest :P
I see you're from the Netherlands too. Maybe we can help eatchother
Best indeed is to get these campaigns on FB whithout getting noticed. Add me on skype if you want to talk this thru in more detail.
Well is not that easy as before but you can push xx,xxx$/day if you find correct angle and offer. You will have to take in mind, as other wrote before for the converting carriers and wifi traffic. But, in lot of cases that conversions on 3g will be fine to be profitable and scale.
Been running pin submits on fb, 4-5 figures a day, knowing that if all the carriers converted similar the ROI would be 2x-3x, but these are the rules of the game
The main problem you will find is with accounts being banned for cloaking and aggressive ads (if you use it), that's the big difference between affiliates that run on fb.
At the moment we are smashing IE pin submit offers via FB advertising. Hit me up (tim.vipresponse) if you want a piece of the pie!
