I'm using Prosper 202 self installed and I'm setting up an Adwords campaign driving traffic to my own product. My question is this: I've got one big campaign and 5 ad groups and 3 ads in each ad group. In 202 how many links should I have to generate for each ad group (or the whole campaign)?
Do I need to make a new tracking URL for each separate ad or is that not necessary? 
What I usually do is create a separate text ad in 202 for each ad group in adwords. And the use google conversion tracking to get ad-level insight, if it's something that will track fairly accurately. You could also just do 1 campaign-level ad and then assign one of the tokens to represent ad group and individual ad number. So say c1=[ad group] and c2=[ad #]. But it all depends on how necessary you think granularity of tracking will be...
Ok, I think I got it then. So for each ad group have a dedicated tracking link/URL but if I want to know the actual ads causing conversions just use Adwords tracking along side? I'm down for that as long as there aren't any problems. If I wanted to do it on a ad by ad basis though should I set up a separate link for each ad in 202 though (if I don't want to use Adwords)?
