Yes it's a good idea, like I say just adding a subdomain for free works at the moment.

I think the big problem is some traffic networks are sending Google bots to the landing page.. maybe blocking robots.txt could sort it, might be worth a try.

Yup, happened to me! Just bought a bunch of .xyz domains from namecheap. took me a couple days to figure out why my ROI got killed lol

Did it just block the ads or the site the ads were on?

At the moment, for me personally, I'm still running miss-click style banners and seeing the same amount of traffic.

However I think it won't be long before this update catches up with the publishers..
