Best Esp for low monthly voluum (4)
Hi there,
We have a good double optin database (80k subscribers). We are sending 500 000 mails a month. Geo is Belgium. Paying 1800 EUR for this every month. Seems to be expensive for me, however deliver rate is good.
What do you recommend? We are currently using http://smartfocus.com/ .

You can get that bill down to 50 Euro per month by using Amazon SES + Sendy.

Using amazons architecture delivery rates are great.
Get your tech guy to set it up it's very basic to get running. Test it on 10% of your list and compare inbox rates.
I like sendy too, but it really sucks for segmenting and timing your emails. It's as basic as you can get.
Is there like a Mailchimp UI that can sit on top of Amazon SES? That'd be ideal.
For those kind of volumes I would still recommend Mailchimp. Its a bit more expensive but it it guarantuees inbox delivery and is super user friendly.
If volumes keep on going up I would go for EGOI
