Odd question about banner optimization (5)
Something that I notice in my campaigns is as follows:
I run 5 banners. All have the same design and angle. The only difference between each banner is the image.
So after running some traffic, I find 1 banner that seems to be doing well.
I run the "winning banner" for a few days until banner blindness/decay kicks in and then I have to start over.
Problem:
Ok I identify the image that is working well, but there really is no reason why this image should be working better than the others. They are all the same "look" ie "white, busty, milf", they are just different people.
So how can you optimize something like this?
I mean the only thing that separates all these banners is the image, and the image is from the same "genre". So I feel like it's just a crapshoot.
Maybe my angle is too weak? Like I need to focus on finding the right angle so that all/most images are profitable?
Any thoughts appreciated.

from what I know, one image can outperform the others even if they all are from the same group. Might be that at the first glance they all look the same, but each image has a certain impact on the viewers - you said 'different people'
and you know, taste varies among different people.
By the way, that's why while testing different banners usually you test combinations with different images, cause they work differently. I do suggest you to try understand and learn the characteristics of the specific 'winner', cause you can then use it to expand the campaign.
I am positive that in time you would be able to come with new creative angles, in the meanwhile you can go ahead and test different combinations of tests, designs (colors, borders, no borders ...) and this image.
There must be something different about the image! Here are some more things to consider:
- Is the framing different? Full-body, close, mid-shot?
- Is her hair colour or eye colour different?
- Is her body type different? Tall, short, thin, voluptuous?
- Is her bone structure different? High cheekbones, full lips, big eyes, different eyebrows?
- Is her pose different?
- Is she looking in a different direction?
- Is her outfit different? Either different types of clothes or different dominant colours?
- Is the background different? Is she indoors, outdoors, in a club?
- Is the overall colour cast, saturation level, sharpness of the image different? Is it a "pro" or "amateur" image?
Just a few more things to help you analyse what's going on there!
Its all about how much people and what type of people the woman attracts. Roll back a few years, Im sure you can think about situations when you were drunk with your buddies, talking about women and who'd fu*k what chick - of the ones you knew 
Remember how some females only seemed hot to some of your buddies and some were in the wet dreams of the whole club? Thats how it works with people, some women have the extra factor that make them stand out in a way and get noticed. And that is the type of women you need to find for your banners.
It can be plenty of factors - could be the way they position their body, the way they are dressed, their smile, something in their eyes ...
Speaking from my own experience here, very often I have campaigns that are based on one single woman that I put on dozens of banners, once the girl is seen to many times, the campaign simply dies until Im able to find a similar woman. When I find a woman like this and she happens to be a model or pornstar, its like finding a huge golden nugget because there are several sets with her out there which equals to a lof ot quality banners
A year and half ago or so, I found a "little bit fat" model, but that girl looked so cute and sexy that even I found her super attractive, even tho I dont like fat girls at all. Funny thing was, that she looked the most sexy when wearing a tight dress and those pictures worked the best. Needless to say that the banners I used her for, smashed it across several GEOs and made me a lot of money 
To give you an advice you could actually use - look for girls who have the typical positives like big boobs, decent body, nice hairdress... but who arent model type hotties. Girls you are attracted to yourself, but dont really know why, when they really arent your types at all. I call them the queens of the 3rd beer - girls you wouldnt immediately jump at, but after 3 beers they are irresistible
