Trademarked logos/non complaint landing pages

From what I've seen from spying, most of the popular landing pages contain trademarked logos (facebook, google, apple, etc) and are advertising on networks that do not allow trademarked logos. I'm guessing they use compliant LP's for approval then switch LP's after.

What are your thoughts on this?

Can the complaint affiliates compete with the non compliant ones? Is running aggressive/non compliant landers the only way to make it in mobile?

Nope. Logos mean trust. Trust means $

Why would anybody believe Paul's method of making on "beating the system" with a little pill, when Bradley Cooper clearly has this one in the bag. Same with a miracle pill promoted by Dr Ragesh (made-up). Who is he? There is no credibility. What Dr Oz says goes... oh and if its on the interwebs it must be true!

Well it depends on what you mean by "compete" ...

Will a used car salesman sell a car faster if he fakes the vehicle history report, makes it look like it has never been in an accident instead of five, and changes the odometer so that it looks like it only has 10,000 miles instead of 510,000 miles?

Do you really want to compete to be this type of person?

There is a huge difference between great marketing (accentuating the benefits, creating a smooth customer experience, focusing on strong angles, refining your funnel) and deliberately misleading people. I think David Ogilvy said it well:

If you have traffic source, placements, targeting and offer sorted out, those landers work 99% of the time without logo / brandname. give it a split test and you will see the marginal difference. Running logos does not make a winner out of a loosing campaign. At the same time, not running logos doesn't make a looser out of a winner.
