2 Questions

I have two questions

1.) I see that super affiliates launch a lot of campaigns and you should launch 2-3 campaigns a day. I was wondering what counts as a campaign, for examples is 1 lander and 1 banner = 1 campaign or 4 landers and 4 banners = 1 campaign?

2.) Is it legal to use a celebrity in a banner and on lander? For example an ad with a picture of kate upton and text says "Is Kate Upton overrated in looks? Vote and get a chance to win a gift card. Is that legal?

I know that's not a good angle but it's just an example

Thanks for your help

I'm not a super-affiliate, but hope my answers will still help (at least it will bump this thread and hopefully some super-affiliates will see it and answer!)

1)Don't fixate too much on what a campaign is, or how many you "need" to launch every day. It really depends on your current situation. For example, if you're already working on a promising campaign, but it hasn't reached green yet, then your time would probably be best spent on optimizing the campaign by testing more creatives and similar offers. If you're in the scaling stage, then you may start 10-20 camps on different traffic sources in the same day.

Generally speaking, try to spend your time doing what you feel will achieve the most progress in any point in time. I always need to remind myself of this. If something's already working, I know I should focus on scaling it instead of spreading my time out over testing other stuff. If a campaign is already optimized to the point where further optimization will probably not bring large increases in ROI, I know I should test new stuff instead of trying to squeeze out the last bits of profits from it.

2)Since I'm not a lawyer, I can't tell you for sure whether or not this is legal, and it would most probably depend on the wording you use as well as the context in which you're using the celeb's name. However, I think your example ("Is Kate Upton overrated in looks? Vote and get a chance to win a gift card.") should be fairly harmless. It would be more of a problem if you were to tell people that a celeb has endorsed a product when they haven't, or spread false rumors about the celeb etc. Asking for people's opinions on a celeb should be fine. (Again, this is just my personal opinion.)
