What other mobile traffic types do we have besides PPV?

Hello Guys,

I´m about to start my first campaign but before buying traffic I´d like to get some doubts clarified about mobile traffic types.

I´ve seen pop traffic is called PPV and I can buy it in places like Proppeler Adsds, PopAds, AdCash, Leadimpact, TrafficVance, ZeroPark, 50onred and many more but there are DSPs that also sell mobile traffic like InMobi and Go2Mobi and that it´s not PPV.

What´s the name that traffic type?

What other companies sell this "not ppv" traffic type?

I will be working with either Pin submits, App installs (not games) and/or Vouchers offers.

What mobile traffic type would work best for each of these 3 offer types?

I´d appreciate if you could recommend me other good quality "not PPV" traffic sources like InMobi and Go2Mobi.

Sorry to make this basic question, but I get confused about the differences as under "Traffic Sources/PPV & Direct Navigation" as well as under "Traffic Sources/Mobile" I see a lot about PPV traffic and It´s complicated to find the "not PPV"posts/threads.

The "not ppv" traffic type you're referring to is called Banner Traffic or Display Traffic. There are TONS of mobile display traffic sources. The two you mentioned - InMobi and Go2Mobi - are great sources. Here are a few others:

BuzzCity
Adivity
AvazuDSP
AirPush
Tapit
Millenial Media
PocketMath
Adiquity
Appnexus
Admob
MobPartner
StartApp

And if you ever need more, there are a few mega lists of traffic networks floating around the forums. This one for example:

That list contains all types of traffic sources and not just display traffic.

You can run pin submits, app installs and voucher offers on both pop traffic and display traffic sources, although some offers don't accept pop traffic so remember to check with your AM.
