Masterminding.. what's the best approach

Masterminds..

What the best approach to masterminding.

Having a group where individuals effectively work together. Share data, landing pages, traffic sources etc. and effectively share their testing budget.

Vs. those who mastermind together and share parts of their testing data without giving too much away.

Those of you who've been in a few masterminds, what's the most effective method to grow and learn together quickly.

My personal take on this : you either share data/results or fuck the mastermind alltogether. All the general advice, rules, things to do, optimization advice, things to do and to avoid ... this is what you pay for to get on this forum and Im happy to give it to you. If you're starting a mastermind, make sure you agree to share as much data as possible or its not worth to start one at all.

EDIT: Wanted to add something. This is why its absolutely necessary to bring people on a similar level together, when creating a mastermind. When someone feels he/she is giving too much to the mastermind and not getting enough back, he/she will stop and the mastermind will loose its purpose for this individual.

I agree with this.

Any attempt to be a part of a mastermind hasn't worked out for me as, without sounding arrogant, I am a bit ahead than most newbies since I have experience with graphic design, banners, web design, html, css, tracking, etc. as well as other internet marketing knowledge. But I do think it's one of those things that can take my game to the next level if I had a tight knit group of individuals who are already at the stage that I am.

Mr Green has the definitive guide on this question here: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...Mastery-Manual

I heartily recommend it. It is THE best practices playbook on running masterminds, and I would even say ... ignore it at your own peril!
