I am going to start my first campaign on Monday and doing the prep work now.
From the kindness of my AM she told me to try two offers out that where performing well on PPV direct linking. 1 is a like the nelson research thing that everyone use to promote.
I have 500 on 50onRed
I have CPVlab
I will get after I talk my self into it boxofads to help me find targets. Still nervous about this purchase. Yet it can be a good research tool to help with targets. Specially being the screw up that I am at times.
Use those targets as seeds to find more targets.
Go minimum bid.
Let it run a week to get data then adjust as needed. (I think) need help with this one someone told me to wait a week to get good data. Not sure if that is right. As they said some under performing keywords can pick up on certain days of the week while others perform well during certain hours of the day.
Roll over my earnings until I reach my goal of 10k a month before April!
Advice? I think a problem I see is it is not complicated enough of a plan...... Big problem in my mind.
Edit
Okay talked myself into boxofads. Spent 5 minutes and came up with 133 target urls fr the same campaign I am running. I found some in there that had NOTHING at all to do with my niche but then I remembered something my friend told me it was about demographics of the users. So I am not going to discount them as they are semi popular sites in there niche and the demographics appear to be the same so gonna give them a shot too.
Waiting on my creative to get approved on 50onRed going to start early for giggles. Set my campaign budget to minimum on all domains and 15.00 a day hope that is okay. I can increase later but this will prevent me from losing too much money just starting up and let me get some testing to remove the bad urls.
Edit 2
33 bids on domains where under budget. Some where like .50 a view. Decided to leave it all alone for now. Wait till later as not trying to blow through everything all at once and have bids that high it definitely would blow through my budget fast. Trying to make it go slow and smooth till I get the hang of it.
All it is left is for my creative to get approved and I honestly do not see that happening till Monday sadly. Ohh it would be pleasantly nice if it would somehow get approved before then. It would make me one happy man. It is what it is though. Early bird gets the worm. I did not start the campaign soon enough to get approved today. Everything else is approved though.
Boo made a mistake and put this in the wrong forum... Thankfully a mod moved it to the right one. THANKS!
Okay update.
I went ahead and did up the other offer my AM recommended. I was able to get about 450 targets on this one and am a little concerned it might be too many.
I saw everyone talking about sweeps and I had no offer that actually utilized the mobile part of 50onred and this offers accepted both so decided to give that a try. I found about 20 targets for this campaign. It is also the highest paying offer I have at 2.00 which has me wondering about it as the network earning per click is lower than the two my AM recommended me.
So all in all I have 3 campaigns sitting at 50onred ready to be approved on Monday. I am a studying on putting up a couple more tomorrow.
First day was a waste.
I double checked my tracker.
It was picking up stats correctly. I double checked my CPA link it was correct.
both my traffic dashboard on 50onred and my tracker did line up correctly.
However my Maxbounty stats showed nothing.
Not sure what is going on here. I just wasted 20.00 it seems. Good thing I am testing in small numbers. So do I stop figure out what is wrong with MB or what?
Well here it is 3 in the mornin. I decided not to kick myself in the butt too much and went and set up yet another campaign, This campaign did not target USA and it was a niche I knew gaming (This is actually even oddly enough a game I beta tested). So the clicks are cheaper and the EPC on the network is actually pretty good. So here is hoping. If this does work out I know what I am gonna do get back into the gaming niche lol.
My fingers are crossed.
When you say your MaxBounty stats showed nothing - did they even show the clicks through from your lander to the offer? (I'm assuming you had some clickthroughs.)
If they didn't, yes, you should stop immediately and figure out what went wrong there. You're likely to be throwing money away otherwise.
Nice work so far, and I'm looking forward to future updates!
NOTE : I wanted to post this yesterday before caurmen replied but couldnt access the forum from some reason so I saved it for later posting, here you go :
So you took a higher paying offer instead of the 2 that your AM recomended to you, am I reading you right? - this is a mistake, lower paying offers very often outperform the higher paying ones in terms of ROI. ROI is what matters, not payout per conversion
You bought $20 worth of traffic and didnt get a conversion, this could mean there is a problem, but it also might not mean anything. Maybe the offer isnt performing well, maybe it doesnt work directlinked, maybe you picked wrong targets...
First of all, make sure you have everything set correctly, correct link used in cpvlab, working server ... all the basic stuff. Make sure to make a few "Clicks" yourself and see if you go to the page you are supposed to - make sure to use a VPN to mimmick the GEO you are pushing.
Once you are sure that the traffic is going to where it should and that its matching the GEO and all other specs from the advertiser, we can look at it again. If you see clicks reported in the traffic source and in cpvlab, but no traffic in maxbounty, then there is a problem with the link somewhere.
UPDATE I contacted my AM. She tested my MB link said it is working. She said the problem is either in my traffic source or CPVlab and to contact either of them and start trouble shooting. So I contacted CPVlab and shut everything down till they get back with me. JUST in case someone can help me here faster this is my set up I think I got rid of all identifying factors.

Another oddball update
Whenever I click from my tracking link I get this at the end of the offer ?cid=9540&s2=147150
Whenever I click from the naked affiliate link I get this at the end of the offer ?cid=9540&s2=167039
I have tested this a few times so somehow CPVlab is changing the link.... So my question now is why is CPVlab changing the affiliate link to another affiliates link???
DURP it was append subid that was changing it. OMG I feel so retarded. I unchecked it and now it is going to the right place. My I feel like such an idiot right now. Just overlooking that one thing cost me money. I really have to tighten up my game.
The link in cpvlab has to end with the click ID, what parameter you are using to pass it to the affil network depends on their setup. Cake affil networks that I am using are asking for "s2" parameter, so my links (to offers) in cpvlab end with "&s2=". CPVLab then appends the actual click ID at the end of the link and that is unique for every click, so it has to change with every click - thats how the tracking actually knows what click made the sale as it gets this unique click ID reported back from the aff network in form of a postback. Did you actually configure the postback with the aff network? I have the feeling you should reasd more about tracking, do it please
Send your AM the campaign url from cpvlab, its at the bottom, and ask if that one works correctly. And load it yourself too, you must end on the offer lander.

Awesomesauce (my personal word pending copyright)
Click 174
Cost 1.74
Leads 1
Earning 2.00
Profit .26
Roi not sure as the calc I was using is giving a blank. Yet I know it was not negative I am in the positive.
So yep my first 50onRed profit.
Side note the conversion did not fire my conversion pixel even though I did put it in right...
Make sure you have it configured properly before sending anymore traffic, its pointless without properly setup tracking.
^ this. You can ask your AM to fire test conversions to verify that your postback is working.
Nonetheless - congratulations on your first conversion!
Here's to many more in the future!
Going to second matuloo and caurmen on this! Most of the time, network reps always ask affiliates to send over a test link for firing a test conversion after the servers have been integrated for the first time to make sure that the postback works. You’d be surprised at how often the problem lies with the postback setup and not your traffic source.
Just this week, I had a case where clicks were coming through but the conversions were not, and after a test conversion we figured out that the problem was with the tracking link setup and not the affiliate’s traffic.
Thank you everyone yet again! I contacted my AM and she checked it out and fixed the problem. Another problem arose and that is somehow I am firewalled at MB and it will be a day before the guy who can look into it CAN look into it... Sooooo mo problems mo problems. Fix one for another to arise.
I figure since there is no updates today I will give a little secret of mine I have used over the years for my blogs. I am most certain it will work for landers as well.
You can get a google drive for free and use it as a CDN for free. Cost nothing and is stupid fast as fast as or faster than Amazon. You can with some knowledge host whole pages on google drive to make them crazy fast. I never did that as most my blogs are wordpress and google drive does not have a php server or anyway to install a program like wordpress so I would only use it to serve up my images. You can do it manually or look for a google drive as CDN plugin. I am sure by now there is some free.(wordpress)
For HTML you can host the entire page on there if you do only use html and no scripts. You can just put your images on there and call em up on your landing page as well. It is not rocket science and google is stupid fast. Need more information I am sure there is plenty blogs on it. I found out because I am the worlds cheapest person and was looking for a way to save a buck and increase blog load speed.
There ya have it my tip for helping me out along the way and reading this mumble jumbo.
UPDATE: MB got me in so I can see stats
Clicks 1352
Actions 0
Earnings $0.00
Cost $11.05
=
Me failed miserably. This is disheartening as I do not know what to change or to cut my losses and try something else or what..... Maybe pause the MB campaigns and fire up the YTZ pops campaign just go see if I can get one win running? I do not know it is so very confusing.
Good tip! I'd be interested to see a speed comparison between a Google Drive hosted page and an S3 hosted one.
Don't worry about the failed campaign - you'll see a lot of those! What I'd suggest now is sharing everything you've been using on the campaign - offer name, geo, any other targeting, landing pages - so that we can have a look and see if there are obvious places to improve.
Check your placements too. Did most of the clicks come from one placement? If so, try pausing that then restarting the campaign.
And launch another campaign! Either use the same offer with a radically different angle, or choose another offer.
Keep on trucking!
okay
Sorry I was really busy a lot going on in my personal life.I am still going to post my campaigns but I DID run ytz in the meantime. So with ytz I was 2.98 away from breaking even on a 25.00 spend.
Uhmm hello? So YTZ coverted better just running garbage ron than a campaign that was targeted? I had some pixel problems though so could not find out which country was popping as I was running three. She fixed it for me something about the url has no &string like sub and revenue so it did not fire so she fixed it for me on my behalf. Which was really nice of her. I feel I can win with YTZ. It is at least worth a shot. I am very happy about that. I mean a 22 something dollar revenue way more than I made on targeting urls on targeted niches.... OMG this is messed up lol. Okay will give up some more data as I have it.
UPDATE: Ran traffic at about noon for YTZ. About 5 hours ago. My stats at YTZ shows nothing no traffic at all. So no real way to find out if my conversion pixel is working or not. I checked my link from 50onred everything is GREAT and DANDY not only that I click the link it even updates on 50onred. I got a conversion last night hours on hours after my campaign ran out last night. I do not know if they update whenever they feel like or what. You would think they would at least update the traffic stats.
Update 2: Almost 8 hours and nada.... No traffic in my reports.
My result on a 75.00 spend so far with 50onred and YTZ is not GREAT but not bad. It FAR surpasses my MB fiasco and considering I am running RON I do not have to worry about targeting. Silly easy just testing and tweeking but here are the results.

I feel this is going to be FAR better in the long run learning the Pop ropes.
My top money country cost .002 a pop and is 19.00 on a conversion. The conversion rates are HORRIBLE but at least it gives me something to work with.So what I did is removed that country from my main campaign and made a campaign just for it. To see what is what. Put a daily budget of 10.00 so even if it fails I am not losing much at all.
With that experiment I noticed this. 5k clicks from that monster country - 100 clicks in YTZ. ULTRA delyaed reporting it is the country that has conversions coming in at 18.00 many moons later. So it will be very very tough to really get on the fly testing on this it is more like test wait a year to get stats then run again.... I have noticed that some stats never even show up like ever. There is about a 20k click discrepancy in total. As shown in stats:
31,069 total sent via my tracker
12888 YTZ stats
There is some major problems there. I am not sure if it is they can not handle all the traffic at once so it in effect gets clogged as I keep an eye on my tracker and it does not go down. I have checked and rechecked to make sure it is up and running and there is no problem there. Imagine if some of that "lost" traffic was conversions I might be much much farther ahead right now. In effect I could most likely have made double what it says I made. As half my traffic is just gone to the cloud. Which right now would put me in the green on YTZ by about 10.00 .....
This really is upsetting knowing that I can be in the green right now but my traffic is disappearing and there is nothing I can do about it. I mean 10 to 15 percent is okay. Yet 50 percent we are talking about half my spend. Which IS NOT cool. Contacted my AM and told her I am pausing traffic till we can figure out where my traffic is going. So till Monday I guess I will not have anything to update on except grabbing those other campaigns and targets and sharing em here.
Yes I do realize I am probably not looking at this right. I am looking at it like this I paid for traffic to make money. I entrust that traffic with a company to make money. I can understand some play on stats it is understandable. Yet when my tracker matches up with the 50 on red stats and there tracker is off by about 20k and at .002 a click That is 40.00 . That is 40.00 I am not going to see again. Just poof disappeared in there system not mine. I earned 42.41 with them. I spent 84.74 . We deduct that 40.00 and get 44.74. While not completely in the green it is close enough to work with. So not sure where I am wrong in this matter but please enlighten me because this is really upsetting.
To me it is like giving money to a bank. You walk into the bank and half your money is gone without a trace with no rhyme or reason. No withdraw no purchases just poof gone. If that happens yeah someone better be explaining something real fast. This is no different in my book. The traffic was given to them and it just poofed gone. Was it on purpose? Is that how they make there money? Is there system not set up to deal with the traffic they are getting? What is going on? Someone better explain. Mypoor AM most likely is not in on what is going on as she is only a junior AM. Yet she will get an ear full as I need some answers.
This is not the proper way to look at this man. First off all, the small amount of traffic you sent them, definitely didnt cause them any technical problems, so its not like they are not able to take it
You should also quickly stop with the "if they this, if they that, if it was like this ...." way of thinking. What matters here is how much you paid for the traffic and how much you made in the end, period.
Thinking about how much you could make if something was different than it is... thats just pointless and makes you more frustrated. The conditions are given, you need to learn to live with them.
The click discrepancy you are mentioning is a bit too big tho, so in this case you should investigate a little bit, there might be some problem somewhere.
BUT, never ever even in your wildest dreams will you reach a 100% match. Especially not with pops. There are several reasons for this. Traffic network will count the hit as soon as the script gets called, but that doesnt mean the hit will actually reach the monetization platform, the surfer can close the window, it might time out somewhere, get blocked by some app ... this is pretty normal. Then there are bots, traffic network might count them, but the monetization platform might not. Then there are traffic networks that simply cheat, so they show higher numbers than the reality is, there will be some difference cause by the raw to unique hits ratio .... etc ect. 15% or so is absolutely normal with pops, sometimes its 20 or more and thats still considered pretty much normal.
I understand it can be very frustrating, but thats how it is.
Okay pulled my head out of my arse and back and refreshed. I am trying out DNTX and let me say YEAAAA. I was denied at Zeropark but it is what it is. DNTX I am seeing a 100 percent roi right now with one campaign showing 150 percent roi. While 50onRed the traffic is doing worse and worse. I have no clue why I spent 500 on 50onRed as now it is just showing one big money sink. So without further ado here is my DNTX campaigns and how the are doing.
First country
Visitors 1565 Conversions 6 RPM $26.85 Revenue $42.02 my cost $27.06 BOOOOM YEAH BABY Bring it.
Second country
Visitors 633 Conversions 1 RPM $16.01 Revenue $10.13 my Cost $4.27 Lol yes yes only 1 conversion but still well over 100 percent ROI
Third country
Visitors 274 Conversions 2 RPM $2.98 Revenue $0.82 my Cost .88 Yes that campaign did not break even for me but I am going to give it a little more time.
Fourth country
Visitors 939 Conversions 0 RPM 0 Revenue 0 Cost 20.23 I am cutting this campaign. Big looser there.
So yeah DNTX is doing awesome I am loving it showing some real potential . Still want to try Zero Park buttt it is what it is. Maybe when I can spend 1000.00 a day or something they might except me. Those very same countries was a result of about 100.00 loss on 50onred. I ended up shutting em off because had no conversions yet they are doing okay on DNTX. Makes me wish I never signed up with 50onred. It is what it is though. I had to learn. I had to test traffic source so now I know. I would have been better off giving 500.00 to DNTX. At least I would be closer to making a profit if I would have.
BTW for a nice reality check for me
We are sorry to inform you, but your application for a ZeroPark account has been rejected.
If you believe that there has been a mistake, please contact us at .
The ZeroPark Team
You get something like that it REALLY feels like someone kicked you in your teeth. I did contact my AM and she said they will approve me once I get some experience under my belt cause they would not answer any of my questions so she was nice enough to reach out for me on my behalf to get a solid answer. I assumed experience meant money.... Cause I was truthful with them and answered there questions honestly. Lesson learned honesty does not pay.... So next time lie my teeth out to get into a traffic source so I can give them money for traffic.. Really how you going to deny a customer? Go to Walmart "sorry sir your money is no good here please take your business to Target"....
Okay that was my I got jokes for today hope you enjoyed. As we all know the real reason I was denied is because I am a American male. Lol see got to make light of the situation. Make things funny to keep from letting em get you down.
Today's stats
NOT so good but it is really all about rolling averages I guess.
Camp 1
Visits 571 Conversions 1 RPM $5.60 Revenue $3.20 Cost $ 9.991 So on this camp I am in the red. However this one is giving me a good avg overall so it was just a bad day. Not going to cut it.
Camp 2
Visits 288 Conversions 2 RPM $2.86 Revenue $0.83 Cost $ 3.063 Yes more losses but once again this is just a bad day nothing to worry about. I DID raise my bid on this some so this may be the reason for the higher cost and less conversions. I lowered the bid again. I rather have less traffic and more conversions than more traffic and less conversions.
Camp 3 the campaign that was barely losing
Visits 184 Conversions 0 RPM $0.00 Revenue $0.00 Cost $ 2.111 So red on this one too BUT I did raise my bid on this one as well. So going to lower that back down as well.
All in all lost 11.00 but it was just a bad day. I made some bad choices last night and raised some bids because I was being impatient. Nothing really that can not be fixed. I lowered my bids back to where they was at. So we will wait for tomorrow to see what is what.
I honestly do not see me hitting my goal of 10k a month by April anymore. Just does not look like it is going to happen. My dreams of moving down to Dorado PR might be a pipe dream for now. I am soooo far away just do not see it happening this year.
A little stat looking I saw my weekly RPM for Campaign 1 is $21.17
Which gives me a little better outlook then just looking at the daily. I am paying 15.00 or something thousand I think.. 0.015 per click. So I guess that means on average I am making 6.00 per thousand clicks...Not good but it is a lot better than loosing 6.00 . I do not know really. not even sure that information is relevant to me. Not sure if I should look at that data..
Today I even broke the 400 percent roi mark
Sooo check this out
not even a 15.00 ad spend
Made 120.00
YES!
That is what I am talking about!! YTZ=Winning!
Okay past two days DNTX has not been giving me much traffic. Would be a non issue if Zero Park would let me have an account but I am not even getting enough traffic to get a conversion right now. It is not my bid the auctions for my demo went down to a tenth of what they where. Not sure what is going on and why DNTX lost traffic but whatever is going on sure do hope they get it fixed.
2016-03-05 22 -0- $0.00 $0.00
2016-03-04 307 -0- $0.00 $0.00
2016-03-03 764 -4- $157.07 $120.00 -This only cost me 15.00 @ DNTX yeah I did good that day.
Via YTZ
Now let us look at the auctions @ DNTX
3-3 the day got 4 conversions
Auctions - 8,101
3-4
Auctions -3,656 - See not making this up not a 10th but DANG it is low
3-5
Auctions - 429 - Now you can see that I am really not imagining things.
As you can see DNTX is bleeding traffic. I never had a problem with this demo. It even does better on the weekend. Sooooo what is going on? Did they lose a supplier? The main part is no traffic = no conversions = no money. So what do we do here...
FYI: Not saying there is anything wrong with DNTX traffic I have had nothing but positive experiences. This just has me worried as I have no back up traffic source. I do not know if it is a temporary situation or a permanent one. DNTX gave me a chance when there competitor turned there back on me and for that I will be forever grateful. This does have me worried though and for reasons like this I wish I had a ZP account.
Welllllll traffic went up still a 10th of what it was.
Bidding has nothing to do with it either as the amount of auctions has dropped still.
The number of auctions so far today
795
Little better than yesterday but still not enough for a conversion as I only won 100 clicks of that
DNTX support got a hold of them they gave me some oddball excuse and the bid keeps climbing as everyone is clambering to get some traffic from that GEO.
DNTX - Nothing is wrong bid too low.
Every couple hours the average bid raises a whole .002 while not much mix that with the inability to admit anything is wrong has me nervous. Thankfully ZP got me in and so I am gonna hit that and get back to my 400 percent days lol.
Funded my Zeropark account
Been waiting for a grip for the campaign to get approved
While waiting at least this happened
385 1 $77.92 $30.00 on DNTX
That is 300 percent roi. Very little traffic but at least it was enough to get a conversion.
First campaign on Zero Park was denied as I used the wrong string in the URL. Redid the link and waiting to see what is up.
As for DNTX spent 11.00 made 60.00 - You hate me right? Lol win win win win.
switched over my DNTX camp from
Okay that was a bad move since moving it over my clicks are not going over to YTZ.... Not sure what happened here but it is like they are just disappearing from
Found out what clickid was and where to put it........ I feel like such a dunce but here we go

I have been busy moving but long story short 293.21% ROI today WHILE moving. Yeah still doing good. Thankfully my postback on YTZ is working so now I can get that profit margin even higher.
Today was not a good day. However it was not bad I did not LOSE any money

I am STRAIGHT up LOVING it. Thanks to
Congrats on the success so far!
If i was you i would be digging a bit deeper on ytz and trying to find out what the offer is and going it alone on it..
It looks like a high payout offer so i would guess its casino/cc submit or something similar.. Grab some proxies for that geo and load up the ytz link and see if you can sniff it out! If it's a small geo then it shouldn't be too hard.
