How do you guys keep Voluum organized? (10)

How do you guys keep Voluum organized?

In a nutshell, my Voluum account quickly gets way too overcrowded after a few months of use, especially in the landing page dept.

I just have so many and it's such a pain to archive them as the system won't let you if a lander is active in an ancient campaign you totally forgot about.

So, anyone have some tips to keep you account neat and tidy? Sometimes I feel like just making a new one altogether but I'm already on my 2nd one and it's entirely another hassle to do this. So I'm curious to know how you guys manage.

Thanks.

I also don't bother with archiving old campaigns and landers, but I have my dashboard set to display campaigns/landers "with traffic" only. Have you tried that?

Thanks Maxini, I do that as well. It's just when it comes time to choose landers or offers for a campaign, I find myself scrolling through a gigantic list that only gets smaller if I archive stuff. Would be nice if they at least added groups.

Yeah that's a good point, in fact I'm so used to scrolling through landers/offers like you describe that I didn't even consider how cumbersome it is. You're right, a groups feature would be very handy.

Yeah i have a gigantic list too, that's why i always use flows now. We can just type the lander name in the field instead of scrolling trhough all the landers.

I try to delete everything Im no longer using

Other than that, Im using some sort of naming that helps me to quickly find what Im looking for in the long lists. For example, all mobile landers would have MOB in the name, country code etc ... and always keep them in the same order so they are nicely listed alphabetically.

Like others have said

Set to "with traffic" only.
Archive campaigns haven't run in months, and
every few months archive old offers and landers otherwise it's an absolute pain searching a huge dropdown list.

They really need to implement the ability to type to search dropdown lists everywhere like in flows.

Thanks guys, solid advice.

Guess I'll need to settle on a naming scheme to use throughout all my landers, as I tend to change it up occasionally which makes it harder to sift through very long lists.

I also hadn't really delved into the flows option, which sounds like it makes things a bit easier so I'll check that out as well. Thanks!

+1 for using solid naming scheme.

keep it short though, cause otherwise it will get cut off in the smaller dialogues like flows etc., so I'd recommend coming up with your own acronyms for all your verticals etc.

in addition to that, for offers I like to put the offer ID from the affiliate network into the text which makes it easier to find, especially if you are split testing tons of similar offers ("win an iPhone" anyone? )

I wish they would add groups to Voluum so we could separate campaigns into specified folders. It would make life so much easier.
