Hey all,
I want to build a review site for an up-and-coming product category.
Currently, no such site exists in that vertical.
My plan is to write good quality reviews (i.e. they'd be good material for SEO - but I won't rely on it) and drive paid traffic to it and link to merchants who participate in affiliate programmes.
I would appreciate your opinions on this. Can this work? Am I hopelessly behind the times, believing that pure content will actually drive revenue?
