Hi guys,
i found this article really amusing and in the same time inspiring!
I mean, the old grandpa in the viral hit of Edeka really rocks
) this promo just proved me that if you are original and brave enough,
you can really come out with the most powerful marketing campaigns. Study your traffic and speak to him, when you promote.
So what's the winning promotion, in your opinion??

Honestly I wasn't really feeling those. Short but sweet is perfect...for example Geico NAILED it with this series:

It was basically a youtube campaign...(if you have adblock off) know how you have to watch the ad for at least 5 seconds before skipping?
Well at second 3.5 or so it goes "you can't skip this ad, because it's already over. Geico save 15% blah blah blah" ...which catches you off guard but the ad starts getting unexpectantly funny right at the 5 second mark so you end up watching the whole thing which is like a minute long (I did, at least). They had several versions of it, all done really well.

Speaking of using humor...I took an extended intro to acting course awhile back; one of the marketing-relevant lessons I recall was that comedy (specifically) intentionally runs at a quick tempo to stay one step ahead of the viewer. Never do you want them to reach the punch line before you deliver it.
Watch any comedy with that in mind, and you'll notice how quickly they go from A > Z with jokes
