Hey Guys,
So I'm at a crossroads in my business at this stage and would love some ideas and feedback (joined STM 2 days ago).
I currently build sales funnels for a living (mostly for myself and some occasional client work).
What they're more commonly known as in the AM space are 'offers'.
I absolutely love building them, but I'm also very interested in the AM space because:
- It involves a lot less work on building out the entire funnel.
- It is extremely scalable on the traffic end (so the main goal is mastering paid traffic and copywriting)
- Less headaches with suppliers and other stuff you run into building out a funnel.
- Less upfront costs (building a solid funnel costs xx,xxx+)
The downside is obviously AMers can't control the offer's funnel and they stand to make less than the advertiser.
My current business is doing mid xxx,xxx at the moment which is fine, but in 2016 I'm really looking to hit 7 figures and the affiliate marketing space has always interested me a lot.
I've got a fairly wide network and many of them are affiliates too. I'm 22, so I've got a lot of flexibility and fairly minimal personal commitments which is why I want to take advantage of this opportunity.
So I'm currently tossing up between making the transition from IM > AM.
Appreciate all your insights.
I am not sure why this has to be an either-or decision.
I think at this stage it's mainly a focus thing. I'm not one to spread myself too thin, even if there's overlap. But I'll definitely be sticking around STM regardless.
Curious to know what verticals you're now mainly focussing on. And when you're talking about creating sales funnels for yourself, what's the end product you "sell"? Digital or physical product?
