I'm Back! Road to 10 Sales Per Day!
Hi stackers,
Quick introduction about myself: I'm 21 years old boy from Vietnam and I've been in Affiliate Marketing nearly 4 years. I tried CPA once time last year. That mean, yes, I gave up once time.
But, I'm back.
I bought John's course and I've learned A LOT things in this course. As I did last year, I want to start a follow-along to track my progress and learn more from you guys.
Below are all the information about my campaign now:
- Network: Nutryst
- Vertical: Nutra
- Niche: Brain Pills
- Traffic Source: Revcontent and Content.ad
- Budget: $10,000.
My goals NOW:
- Get the first sale
- Learn new things EVERYDAY
I'll try to update my follow-along daily, include my campaign stats and every new things I get. I hope that will make my follow-along more useful.
What I did today:
- Did some research and get 10 ad ideas, 10 images and 7 landing pages in this niche.
- Add funds to Content.ad
- Start a new campaign on Content.ad and I'm waiting the approval.
- Watch John's video. It's great!
Feel free to ask me any question!
Excuse my English.

Looking forward to following this one, I know the Native space certainly is the hot topic these days. I can verify brain pills + native ads combo is a winner

Today is Sunday so my campaign is still pending. I spent my time to watch John's video and read Cashvertising (The best copywriting book I've read). I also read about Content.ad and Revcontent approval rules and I realized that my advertorials are breaking the rules of Revcontent (Maybe include Content.ad)
My solution? Cloaking. I read about safe page and cloaking today and now I know I can cloak by using Voluum to redirect IP/ISP/State.... of ad network reviewers to the safe page (The page that is compliant). Or I can use "real" cloaking tool like noipfraud, justcloakit,...but now I think Voluum is enough, right?
My question: How can I know what is IP/ISP,....of the reviewers? Start a lot of campaign and collect the information? I'm doing this, but I wonder if we have any better solution? And, do I need to use noipfraud or justcloakit now? My budget is enough to handle it, but I don't know do I really need it now. Do you guys have any advice for me?
Thank you!

Cloaking on native? Why? It's a wild west out there. Just put the words they want on the lander. Problem solved.

Revcontent Approval Rule:
- References to or images of health or consumer writers, reporters, newscasters, sets of tv news shows
- Headings or other references with words such as "news," "channel _," "times," "sentinel," "reporter," "byline" “Editor,” “Editor’s Note,” “Special Report.”
- First person accounts of using a product or service such as "Nutrition writer Jane Doe put Product X to the test" or “I used product X.”
Almost advetorial I've seen is fake article from news website like fox, cnn,....I think it will increase the customer trust but in fact, it's breaking the rules. Did I miss anything?

1. You don't have to push it as far as faking a brand
2. Fake news site is not the only lander type that works for what you want
3. RevContent is not the only network

My campaign is still pending now so I watched some videos about Facebook. I'm planning to start some Facebook campaigns to test this platform few days later.
I also uploaded my first advertorial to my hosting and added it to my Voluum campaign. I'm too excited about it!
Tomorrow, I'm gonna to find another landing pages and ads images/headlines/angles to prepare for my campaign. It seems a lot of hard work ahead!

Think you guys should discuss cloaking in private.

My campaign was rejected by Content.ad. Reason:
- No sponsored disclosure: The landing page must be clearly labeled as "Sponsored", "Advertorial" or "Advertisement" above the main content. This must appear on all screen sizes and devices.
- Unverified claim: The landing page makes unsubstantiated or misleading claims. This might include a celebrity endorsement without listing a source or verifying permission to use the celebrity's name or image.
- Other: Cannot use fake Twitter quotes from Limitless. Also, must have proper disclosure at top.
I fixed all of this error on my advertorial and reupload it again. Still pending

I also registered on Taboola, Outbrain, Mylikes today.
In addition, I found some new advertorials and ads image on this niche today by using NativeAdBuzz and WhatRunsWhere. Great spy tools! I hope my campaign will be approved today so I can start to test and optimize my campaign!

My campaign was approved. And it sucks!
Spend: $97.44
Conversion: 0
Revenue: $0
Profit: -$97.44
I learned a lesson worth $97.44 that, you need to make sure that everything work before start a campaign. I was anxious to get approved for my campaign and forgot everything else. My campaign was approved in 3AM. When I woke up, it burned $40. Few hours later, I checked my campaign again and I realized that my tracking link was NOT WORKING.
It sucks, but I learned new lesson today so it's not too bad.
Anyway, my 3 ads have low CTR (0.04%) so I need to use other combo. Tomorrow, I need to upload new ads, new advertorial to split test and make sure that everything is working.

Dec 31 + Jan 1
I paused my old campaign and start new one. My campaign is still pending and I need to wait 3 days, because their review team don't work until Monday.
Anyway, in these days, I try to use my spy tool as much as possible to improve my skill. Now, I've understood more about my product, about angle people are using, about ad images that are popular in this niche...
I'm growing up every single day! It's enough for me

Jan 2 + 3 + 4 + 5
After holiday, Content.ad came back and reject all of my ads. Reason: Unverified claims in headline: The headline makes an unsubstantiated or misleading claim.
I think my ads headlines are too aggressive. My lesson: Upload a lot of ads as much as possible, because Content.ad only review my ads once time a day.
In holiday week, I found a lot of great angles, landers and ads. I'm too anxious to get my ads be approved!

I would also suggest to use a (7 day free trial) of af spy tool such as Whatrunswhere so that you get a feel for 1) what ads other (super)affiliates are using in the nutra/diet space and 2) to see the traffic sources they are using. This will definitely give you inspiration - and a head start - to get profitable asap

Yeah thanks for great advice! I'm using NativeAdBuzz, it's great tool I think. I will try WRW in tomorrow.

It's sucks! But I learned a lot. My ads still have low CTR (0.03% - 0.05%) so I need better ads combo tomorrow. Anyway, I've got some problems:
- My campaign have 6 ads, but only 2 ads burned money (My first ad burned 90% money). The rest didn't get anything. Anyone know how to fix it?
- My Voluum got 281 clicks to offers, but in my 2 aff networks, it only showed 138 (69 for each). I can't figure the reason.
I need to add more ads combo to my campaign and fix my problems. Bad day, but I'm growing.
