I may be able to help you with this.

I'd test the survivalist / prepper stuff, to be sure. Maybe political books too - you might have to use Amazon so the commissions will be terrible but it's worth a test.

Also given the niche, certain charities might be worth a try too - there are a couple of networks doing CPA for charities.

Drop in a q1 slider as well for some more rev.... also start hitting your customers emails with offers in doomsday stuff. The flashlight offer that is all the craze right now would likely kill it. PM me.

We have a "get a green card offer" that might work very well on your political blog - if you wanna test it out, just contact me on skype to get things going

Im pretty sure properly designed apparel should do well with this kind of traffic, especially now with the comming elections. These people are strong with their political opinions and they are not afraid to show it to the world. Think about t-shirts with end-of-the-world-is-coming-because-of-imigrants type slogans, or candidates supportive claims etc ... Teespring would be the obvious choice for this, but Im not sure how they look at this kind of slogans.

What is your CTR on Adsense?
Btw, enjoy while it lasts
After new year your RPM will be down for ~50% compared to now (atleast that was my experience for ~4 years so far).

Perhaps Biz op offers that help users find a job and use an angle like "jobs for americans" and "we will not let them take our jobs" (although that might be a bit extreme).

Also eCommerce offers for remote control toys (cars, drones...), living off the grid...

Why do you say? Do you run a political blog as well?

I've signed up for Q1 like a thousand times, but never get a reply... Should I incorporate the doomsday stuff with something else in my newsletter so that I'm not straight up blasting them with something to purchase?

99.9% of my audience are born Americans. I'm not sure how a green card offer would appeal to them.

By just using better ad placement and testing some better native networks you can do MUCH better.

If you can bump your traffic a bit you can definitely get into some much better ad networks - and you can dump Adsense

Your earnings from Ads will by far exceed any of the other suggestions above. One thing you SHOULD ad in is a newsletter - and then monetize that list.

Nice. That looks awesome =)

brenms, i got a survey popup when i clicked inside a page on your website. Which network is that running through?

BTW, I like the site and the traffic you're getting. One thing I did notice was the HUGE logo you have in the middle. I had to scroll down to read the content and view the ads. May be you can reduce the size of the logo such that content moves up the fold.

Seriously? What networks do you speak of? :0 I hit 500k visits as of today.

Also, I have a newsletter with about 10k subs, just not sure how I'm going to monetize it yet.

Hey, that is running through Adsupply I believe.

Yeah, my mobile version is pretty unoptimized, I've been meaning to fix it.

Hey Jason,

What's the Flashlight Offer?

12-29-2015 04:27 PM #15 dlegia (Member)

spy what others advertise on your site
learn from their strategy and implement something similar if they promote affiliate offers.

http://absoluterights.com Does pretty well with this kind of traffic. I think they make money on all the recommended partners.

Thanks a lot for this! I wonder how they do with their subscription plan... If only .005% of my current traffic signed up for a $20/month sub, it'd pull in $50k per month. :O

Sites like these are popping up by the dozen every day due to the upcoming political season.

The big guys that are dominating the niche are the ones with a network of sites. They usually interlink them with native content type images, and each one features a slight variation in the editorial angles.

I have a friend who is doing 4 to 5 figures per day, but owns 20 or so different sites.

this is a great looking site

I have seen political offers on adsupply sites. Maybe check out what is popping up (literally popunders) on sites like breitbart.com. I know software downloads like maccleaner do well on this type of traffic.. if you are serving popunders. But I have see political offers too.

Yeah, there's a company called Liberty Alliance here in Georgia that runs well over 50 of these conservative propo sites and markets their own products to the massive amount of traffic generated by the sites. They make close to 20MM in yearly revenue and are on the Inc. 5000 list. Pretty sure they only started a few years ago as well.

Does your friend run conservative sites? I would kill to pick his brain and learn his secrets. I'm barely hitting 4 figures a day, and would sell my soul to hit 5.

I just met a company that fits this at ASW: https://nativecommerce.com/our-brands/

This is the brand they were promoting: http://survivallife.com/

They have a very specific purchase path for this audience where they give them a freebie -> upsell to a discounted knife -> Subscribe to some family survival membership.

@brenms, yeah, http://survivallife.com/ generates 7 figures/year. I can show you later how.

Dude I'm not even kidding I almost did. Like dead serious, you should definitely read up on it vice listening to some dumba*s on STM (me), but I would be all over it if I was you.

Again not 100%, but I did do some research and it sounds like the way to go is to use the funds to pay a third party to host propaganda campaigns promoting your candidate of choice. Obviously whoever you pay to promote the funds rates a cut for their labor and such.

Totally legal if the person you pay happens to be a friend and/or if the channel running the promotions happens to be your websites youtube channel, facebook page, etc. In fact, that's what everyone is doing.

People get straight irrational with this election stuff. The real time to bank was when ObamaCult was in session, but Trump has a lot of superfans (and enemies) too.
I wish I was in your position
