Hello fellow STMers!
I joined this community a few months back and have learned a lot from the guides, case studies and other follow alongs. All thanks to you guys taking out time to post such good tips and guides.
I've decided to test the waters with Facebook and Browser games. Kindly excuse me in advance for those really noobie kind of questions that I might ask. Would appreciate all the help from fellow community members.

Started the campaign with a small testing budget of $15 per ad. CPC is set to auto. Using Right hand column and would shift to newsfeed ads as soon as tracking is set up properly.(facing issues with it)
after going through a lot of images, photoshopped and mused 2 landers. (Using Zeno's guide to making simple gaming landers)
Targeting: ages between 13-25, males.
created 3 ads with targeting same age group but different angles.
issues facing currently:
8 clicks displayed on facebook
11 visits displayed in
2 visits being displayed by the network.
I logged in via a different ip address and checked whether all the links are working or not.Worked perfectly.
problem facing right now:
the clicks are going through and getting registered on voluum but not on the network.
AM says could be an issue between syncing of voluum and CAKE.(I don't understand what this is)
AM advised to pause the campaign till this issue is solved.
logging in via vpn also not registering any click on network. But registering on Voluum.
All the ads were approved but started running one Ad.
Expenditure done till now Approx $10, 0 conversions.
Kindly let me know where Im going wrong/ what can I do to resolve these issues?
The excitement of running my first ad is overwhelming, can't wait to resume the ads.
Right now Im aware that Im going through a learning curve, so Im clearly not expecting wonders, just looking to connect the dots and be clear as to how things are functioning.
Kindly let me know if I need to furnish details/things which I might have skipped.
Again all help is much appreciated.
Thanks!
So, you had ~8 real ad clicks and only 2 were registered at the network's end?
That sucks - its not much data at all, but not the most amazing start, especially not when paying approx $1 per click by the looks of it.
What geo?
Hey Zeno, thanks for the reply.
Im targeting US
Yes, the major issue right now is that none of my clicks are registering at the network.
Ive tried using vpn to test the link but none of the clicks show up on the ad network.
I know the data sucks. I paused it in a couple of hours since none of my clicks were registering at the network. Didn't want to keep the campaign live and bleed.
The cpc was around $1 but im sure it will come down.
Im still confused where im getting wrong since i have cross-checked the postbacks. Thats whats keeping the campaign paused.
Sounds like one or more campaigns aren't calling your unique link properly. Try testing each campaign link and see which clicks register on A4D, but make sure you're rotating your IP using a VPN so it is not recorded as a duplicate.
Just to be safe, take a shot at reaching out to the team at Voluum- support@Voluum.com, as it could be an issue on their side, or something that was missed. I've made my share of simple mistakes, that's for sure.
Could also be an issue with load time on the LP, giving you some click loss -Common issue on pop, but 80% is a lot. Just a suggestion if the other two come up dry. Great hearing that your tackling new challenges, look forward to hearing more!
Hey Sam!
Sorry im replying quite late,
I checked if the clicks are registering by rotating my ip, I noticed that some of them are getting registered but not all of them.
offer shows up on the aff. dashboard but shows 0 clicks.
Im going to check again with the network.
Ill Update as soon as I send some traffic.
Again, thanks for your reply, it helped me get things moving again.
Any word yet? How's the ROI looking?
Hey Sam,
The offer tanked at the network.
Im working on another campaign and hopefully this time ill set up the tracking right.
Thanks for checking on this one.
