Different Source ID for different landers

Is it possible to send the merchant different source id's with different landers in the same campaign?

I'm doing Adult Dating offers with banner traffic and as you know, merchants are strict with quality and pause you quickly if traffic isn't backing out. I want to test a different kind of lander than the usual Rules Lander but don't know how the quality will be. I could create a separate campaign for that specific lander but I was wondering if there was a way to customize the source id's for multiple landers in the same campaign?

Thanks!

@justin

Thrive allows you to pass the lander ID to the offer. Is this what you're referring to?

What tracker are you using?

I'm the process of making a decision on which tracker to go with, either Thrive or Funnel Flux.

@ipyxel - Do merchants look at your lander ID when making decisions whether to pause you or not? Or do they only look at your source id (subid)? I would rather be told to pause traffic on a certain source id that be cut completely from the offer, that's my concern

It depends on the network and your relationship with the network as well. You can ask them to look at stuff specifically. If your affiliate manager trusts you and want to work with you, he'll fight to look at the custom variables you're sending in instead of having the advertiser look only at your average performance. Some advertisers will do this automatically since it's the smart thing to do, but you can't count on it always.

I would work with your affiliate manager/advertiser to pass them the variables that they most want to optimize on (within reason to not give away your campaign). Thrive has the best referrer cloaking in the industry. Just ask our support about it

Ok cool, I'll just put any major changes to my funnel in a new campaign then, at least until i've had a quality check and built some history with the advertiser. Thanks
