This is my first time on this forum. Wow! What wonderful site! Fantastic people & fantastic contents.
I just found a lot of resources, links, docs ... all things useful for my needs.
Now, I think that the best way to start here is to share some new projects of mine, humbly ask for your advice and so monitor, test, adjust and (I hope) earn.
Basically, I have to sell three kind of products in the next 4 months:
1) An iOS APP, for iPAD only, topic not inflated and related to parents and their children (children's story), multi language (italian, chinese, spanish, uk, us), ready to sell on the App Store at 0.99 EUR
2) Cruise travels around Europe (for italian, english, french speaking people). My customer is a tour operator. I need to collect emails and send data to the customer
3) Tourist packages for the Jubilee in Rome (for italian, english, french speaking people). My customer is a tour operator. I need to collect email and send data to the customer, it's also possible to buy the package directly via paypal (from the landing page)

Do you have suggestion about campaign configuration on Go2Mobi (exchange, etc..)? Other Traffic Sources? In your opinion, Do I use directly my appstore affiliate link or a landing page in the mean?
About point 2, I'm going to use a Squeeze page with a signup form. But... for this kind of products, which traffic sources do you suggest to use? Some effective squeeze template to reuse?

This is relatively broad so I have moved it to the main AM forum to get more traction.
Now, my first question is contextual - why are you promoting these products? Are these clients you have been tasked with promoting for 2016?
For 1), I would use Facebook so you can target parents and have reasonable advert real estate to work with. I am not sure how readily you will be able to sell a parent/child story app that is paid but you will probably need emotional hooking advertising and may benefit from targeting people who like kids books e.g. Dr Seuss stuff. You could try banner/native ads on Go2mobi but parents/kids stuff is going to require you to target the right placements and do quite a bit of testing - the app most likely isn't very "broad appeal".
2) FB and Adwords. Adwords search terms are pretty obvious to figure out, for FB you can test out the targeting parameters about intent to travel to European countries. The main thing is that you need users who have some intent to travel to Europe, and for that you need traffic sources with appropriate targeting. General display traffic on Europe-related travel sites could be OK but I would suggest focusing elsewhere first.
3) FB and Adwords again.
For 2 and 3 I would use simple squeeze pages to start to collect and email address and name then send follow ups.
What kind of commissions do you get for these products? Or are you spending a set advertising budget?

1) About the app, I know, it's not "broad appeal". The point is: how far can I push sales of this kind of mobile app, if I also use practices coming from AM's world? It's worth? Paid traffic - OR - seo + link building + social? SEO approach is on-going. Already used FB ADV for the italian version of this app with a discrete profit (but not so attractive for my taste).
The app is now ready in traditional chinese, spanish and english. I would like to give a chance to go2mobi.
2) Cruises and travels come from one of my clients. In the past, I already sold cruises/travels online. Commissions are CPO based (difficult but profitable in my specific case). So, for sure, AW and FB are good channels as you said. But I'd like to acquire more "practices" from STM community and, why not, I can also open directly to other serious STM's people interested to sell these products and earn a slice.

In both cases, I know that AM is test, test and again test, but my targets are positive profits so each effort must be always addressed to earn (my investments have to mantain my company, myself, my business, etc..). That's said, please, if you see that I'm in the wrong direction (time and money wasting), please, feel free to stop me, and I'll switch on other ways.
