Hey guys, it's my first follow along post, so I ll try to give out as many info as I know!
Offer: Luxquiz.com - iPhone 6S
Payout : $28
Geo : Canada
Networks : Adsimilis
Traffic Source: ZeroPark
Advertorial used: http://socialpost24.com/ca/canadians...pod-promotion/
Anglo used: as you can see reading the advertorial I decided to focus on the FREE IPOD participants will receive after paying $1. The reason is that with Christmas close I guess would be more appealing for people to apply for a free ipod rather to "try to win an iphone".
I am split testing the 4 landing pages Adsimilis offer.
The traffic from Zeropark is POP-UPS, bidding per keywords like: apple, free ipod, ipod, christmas gifts, etc.
I am still waiting the campaign approval on ZeroPark (campaign launched a couple of minutes ago).
I use
Statistics will follow as soon as ready
For the moment I accept any kind of advice on the advertorial, angle, offer, etc...
Be aggressive, I wanna improve :P
Thanks to everyone is going to interact with the thread!
Hey mate, interesting approach with the presell, i will follow your campaign. By the way you target specific country? how do you handle the rest of the traffic.
Hi! Your keyword bidding strategy seems pretty targeted. However your public is pretty broad as everybody would like to get this product for a $.. Sometimes bidding on completely irrelevant keywords can be much cheaper and will result in the same conversion and therefore a higher margin. Looking forward to see how your campaign goes!
Hello,
some sentences in the text dont seem right to me, but Im no native english speaker, so it might be just a feeling
For example : Receive the iPod Shuffle and wish to win also an awesome iPhose 6S! - This doesnt sounds right to me.
Or here : This year all your family and friends have to opportunity to share the same music.
And here : Just immagine to give your girlfriend, or brother, or wife an iPod with all your songs on it.
You are mimmicking a british newspaper, they surely use english correctors
I also think you are trying to sell the product too hard, if I was the one reading this advertorial I could tell its paid advertising imediatelly, as it literaly screams so
and I wouldnt fall for it.
I noticed you used Iphone instead of Ipod once or twice, you might want to correct it.
I assume this was just a sample, and the real version has working links on the other TOP Stories, right? EDIT : didnt notice those are
Also noticed some uses of the word FREE in the text, make sure the advertiser is ok with that, its not allowed pretty often.
Its a nice take on the angle tho, looking forward to your results
Here an update guys. Thanks matuloo, I have changed the advertorial correcting those sentences. Now I have to make it look like more a non promotional article. Anyway, yesterday the campaign has been accepted around mid-day (CET).
Here's the data of the resto of the day:
Pop up visits: 618
Clicks on the offer: 257
Conversion: 0
Revenue:$0.00
Cost: $6.18
CTR: 41.42%
Since midnight to now, 10.21 AM CET:
Pop up visits: 792
Clicks on the offer: 347
Conversion: 0
Revenue: $0.00
Cost: $7.86
CTR: 43.81%
Right now I have stopped the campaign because I had 604 clicks on the offer in the last 24hours resulting in 0 conversions. I want to work more on the advertorial trying to be less "promotional" and pre-qualify more (any advice?).
What do you guys think about those numbers?
PS: offer payout for Canada is $20, not $28 as stated.
1. you are not getting enough statistics to make any decisions based on those data collected. (this statement is old but gold as you will find it being repeated in many other threads) As your offer payout is 20$ you should be running AT LEAST a few times the payout before making any decisions. However, you seem to be going the right way in terms of using an advertorial to promote such offers.
2. you'd wanna try using a custom domain for your tracking link as xxx.voluumtrk are vulnerable to being blocked by the biggest antivirus providers out there. you'd be losing potential conversions due to this.
