Bevo Tracker or Prosper?
Hi everybody. Since i'm a newbie in this whole tracking business, looking for a free tracker to start out and learn all the ins and outs. At first I considered using prosper but then someone recommended me Bevo as it is more user friendly for newbies and easier to use. Prosper is free but would require to pay monthly for a VPS. Bevo is self-hosted, but requires to pay $20/month for full features. I know that it's better to host a tracker yourself for data safety, but I don't care about this, because I am a newbie and there will be nothing valuable to steal from me lol.
Sooo anyone who had experience with both, which would you recommend? Or maybe there's no much difference? I believe people are making millions with both trackers so maybe there's no big deal right here between these two.. or there is lol? Oh, and I am considering only these two trackers, because I am looking for a cheaper solution right now.

You are either paying for a VPS or you're paying for hosted, either way...
I don't have any experience with Bevo and haven't used Prosper in some time. It's been improved recently from what I hear, but if you're really new you may want to go with hosted just so that it's one less thing to worry about. AdsBridge (non-referral link here) offers hosted and a free tier for low-usage to get you started.

Thanks for your reply. Will look into Adsbridge, but would like to hear what others have to say about Bevo?

I haven't paid attention to Bevo in a while so can't comment on them. However Prosper202 Pro is 100% free and under active development, with 2-3 new releases every month.
In terms of feature set, we are pretty much on par with all the paid solutions on the market. The one missing, but on the roadmap, feature is better funnel tracking beyond the initial LP.
Additionally we have stuff that's 100% unique to us. For example, we are the only software that give you full access to the source code so you can modify it to your needs, we integrate with Slack and push all modifications into a channel of your choice this is helpful for teams because you can see all the changes happening in real time even if you are not logged in to P202. Even if you don't have a team, the slack integration is awesome for know when someone is trying to hack into your account because you get real-time notifications of failed logins.
We just launched DNI (Direct Network Integration) and DNI Deep linking. DNI (integrates your network account directly into Prosper202, so you can pull in all your offers, search offers, and set them up automatically, we also setup your postback pixels for the offer automatically. There are no manual steps any more. Check out our demo video here
http://prosper.tracking202.com/blog/...per202-pro-dni)
Our Deep Linking tech allows you to click on offers in the weekly emails networks send you all the time and instantly get them setup in your P202 account.
In terms of hosting costs, the most recent version has been updated to work on shared hosting. This is not recommended for high volume campaigns, but we see that for many people starting out, it's helpful to not have to spend campaign testing cash on a VPS.
We just got added to the MOJO marketplace so Prosper202 Pro setup is a breeze via 1-click install on any of the EIG hosting provides( bluehost, a small orange, hostgator, ipower, ipage etc). We've been available in Softaculous for a while.
