Hi, sorry for such an newbie post. But i feel that i really need to get this straighten out so here goes. I always get confused whether to signup for a certain affiliate networks under Advertiser or Publisher. For newbie affiliates like us who run campaigns on traffic networks what should we apply as? Thanks 
Publisher! Advertisers are the people with the offers. And publishers are affiliates who run those offers. So the affiliate network basically connects the advertisers with us the "publishers" to run traffic to their offers. Hope that helps
Advertiser is the one who is looking for traffic, publisher is the one who can deliver the traffic to him.
In case of affiliate networks, affiliates are the publishers and the owners of the offers are the advertisers. Affiliate networks serve as the middle man.
In case of traffic networks, the owners of sites with the actual traffic are called publishers, and those buying the traffic/ads are the advertisers. So in this case, we, affiliates are the advertisers
Its important to understand both situations, because as an affiliate, you can actually be an advertiser and also a publisher
If you want to pay for conversions --> Advertiser.
If you want to make money --> Publisher
So in your case Publisher I assume!
