How to fire FB pixel on impression, not link click?

Hopefully this isn't too much of a noob question

I'm looking to test out placing the FB pixel on certain slides of a slideshow, but I need to have it fire on the impression, as I can't really attach it as a link. I know how to do it the normal way firing on a click, but how would one go about having the pixel fire on an impression? Been doing some research to no avail, so thanks in advance to anyone with any insight!

What do you mean by a slideshow?

Specifically, is this a slide show app? A website with a jQuery-based slideshow? Etc.

Basically just a viral content site using wordpress with a basic slide show using a post slider plug in; I'm honestly not sure if it's jquery based, but that's the basic idea.

Does your slideshow plugin allow the use of html/iframes in each slide?

Edit: I see you said a post slider plugin, so each slide is actually a post right?

If yes, then you can use a plugin such as this one to add your pixels to your slides.

You would need to put the iframe/image pixel code on the page where you want the pixel to fire (so on the slide of the slideshow where you want the pixel to show)

Then the pixel will fire once that page gets loaded (i.e. when the user arrives on the slide)
