Best way to monetize twitter account?

Hello,

I know this forum focuses mainly on paid traffic, but I'm just curious what you guys would do to make money from free traffic sources.

I have a twitter account with 475k followers. I post adult content on the account and have been doing so since I started it on 2013. This is actually how I got into affiliate marketing.

I started monetizing the account by posting PPC ads from MyLikes.com - Made over $300 from them but it was over a span of about 1 year. It was an on and off thing, I only posted links when I felt like it. I know it's very little but that's how I got started. I've tried other ways of promotion such as, posting links to webcam offers, links to PPD ofers such as VirtuaGirl, PPS adult offers (made 2 sales ;p) and promoting PPL offers using an LP I created on wordpress (i didn't know about ripping landing pages then). Overall in the course of 3 years of me monetizing my account I've made about $900. Which is very little.

The promotion method that made me the most money in the shortest time was promoting PPL offers using an LP. I actually created a twitter account around this LP to make it look more legit. Made about $400 in 3 months. Again very little.

I've been selling RT's and shout outs on Fiverr right now to make a bit more of money to invest in media buys.

I'd like to ask if any of you guys have any experience with promoting adult offers on social media? If you do, in your experience what's the best way to make money from there?

If you don't have any experience with social media promotion, how would you go about monetizing an account? What do you think would be best?

Thanks for any replies, hope everyone has a great week!

- Victor S

What's the activity rate of these followers + how did you acquire them?

That's important to know in order to determine the value (and hence monetization possibilities)

Hey cbrughmans, my account is focused on adult content and people aren't to keen on retweeting or replying to that type of content, but none the less they do look at the pics and read my tweets and I also get about 150-300 clicks on links when I post them.

All followers are real, none were bought. I acquired them over the span of about 3 years.

What would you say would be the best way to monetize my account?

Thanks!

150-300 clicks per tweet is not so much given that you have 475,000 followers. This implies your followers are not really interested in your content.

Therefore I would suggest to promote easy converting adult SOI offers - we have a bunch of them in our network www.addiliate.com. Just sign up as a Publisher if you want to get started with them.

I'd say 300 clicks per link on tweets is a pretty good number, not all 400k followers are active at the same time. Some don't get online for days and my tweets get buried in their timelines. This happens to many big accounts. I would say that my followers aren't that active, but they do see the tweets and view pics, RT and stuff like that. I can see all this info in my twitter analytics.

I've tried promoting dating offers like you mentioned. But I did DOI offers, those where the only ones my aff network had at the time I was promoting them. Looking for any other methods instead of dating offers.

I'm currently promoting camgirls on my account, well, they're promoting themselves on my account. I've given them access to my account and they post a tweet when they're live on cam using my aff link that I gave them. But I'm running the revshare payment method instead of the PPL. So it'll take me a couple months to see if I'm getting any conversions.

Just want to see if anyone has any other tips they can share for monetizing my account.

Thanks.

Checkout Clickbank.com there are thousands of options there that could be effective with your demographic.

Pickup Artist, Weight loss, Muscle, Biz Opp etc. Since you are selling to the same demographic over and over ahead you need to present them with a lot of variety.

Before you start aggressively monetizing I would start getting engagement rates up, and organically acquiring more followers, or else are just going to find yourself losing followers daily.

Set the account on autopilot and never log in again. Repeat x100000000000...like so:

1) Get tweet attacks pro (or similar) or make your own bot using a gui software like ubotstuido/botchief
2) Make an account with picture of hot chick//weed//joke or fail related//etc
3) Buy 10k "followers" on fiverr for $5
4) Bind a proxy, give it content, set to autofollow 200-300/day and unfollow anyone who doesnt follow back after 2 days

If you use a paid software they usually have all the features in step 4 built in. If not just use a random function. Also, most paid twitterbots have options to RSS scrape and transfer to twitter...the tweet attacks pro I mentioned has built in word spinner/poster

Post the aff-link under your profile picture and like I said never get back on the damn thing again. All of this sounds harder then it is I promise, anyone can figure it out in a few days. Note that twitter accepts Google voice numbers for account signup (LOL)

Jennatalia was my witness before & after - once had a twitter account with 0 followers, 1 tweet, and following only one person (D Trump)....also the account wasn't aged. I bought 20k followers literally overnight; no red flag. In fact it's been about 3 months and the followers are still there. Also once I followed over 900 people within an hour. Lastly I have over 10 accounts from my home IP, I've pushed that website so soooo hard haha

Im telling you twitter's dev team is a f-king joke
