uploading landers

so i been trying landers here and there without a server or tracker just been using my host and c panel then upload it, but haven't got any conversions yet. I was wondering does this method actually work? or has anyone got this to work?

Also do you guys recommend landers for just testing an sweep offer?

Thanks ))

Depends on what kinda host you use, if its some slow ass shared hosting, then no, this is not a good idea.

Running without any tracker also goes to the "not a good idea" box of things.

Landers are usually recomended with majority of offers. A properly designed landing page can certainly improve the results. Sweeps are not an exception from this. If you wanna buy a bunch of clicks and blast them to some offer to see if its alive at all, it might work without a lander too, but you have your AM for this, he/she can tell you what to try

@matuloo - i am using godaddy as my host... and currently i am not running a whole bunch of offers maybe test 1 or 2 offers at a time. so i just remove the old landing page and then put up the new one when i get a new offer.

And thanks for the reply

You need to realize one thing, this is a serious business, you either do it properly or you are throwing money out of the window. Godaddy isnt the best hosting as far as I know, at least not the basic packages they offer. Aff biz requires fast hosting, especially fast response time. I didnt use godaddy hosting myself, but if its anything like hostgator or thelikes, its absolutely not good for testing campaigns with. Cloud solution like digitalocean or some of the reliable CDN networks offer VERY cost effective solutions and you should try those instead. Doesnt matter if you test 1 offer or 2, if your landing page is unaccesible for 20 seconds and you just had the visitor who would have signed up for the offer, its lost and your data is worthless

We are talking about just a coupl of bucks per month, do yourself a favor and get some serious host before you move on with your tests

All the best man

I have something at beyondhosting too, started with their VPS, then moved to the dedicated cloud. I cant complain at all, the best thing about them is the unbelieveable response speed to support tickets, thats really awesome. The price might be a bit higher for people who are just starting out and dont know what they are doing yet, so digitalocean sounds like a more affordable solution and I know some affiliates who run paid traffic through this host, so it should be good enough.

As for cloud, Im using rackspace, the prices are really funny if you use small (KB) landing pages, literaly just a couple of bucks per month. Cant comment on beyondhosting CDN as I havent tried that one myself.

The basic difference between CDN and a regular host is, that you cannot run php or any server side code on it, just javascripts. So depends on what kinda landers you want to use. Read this for a better understanding : http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...-Cost-Way-Ever!
