AMC Live Slides // Zeno's Script for firing FB Pixel on Link Clicks

Hey there,

I am looking for a solution to fire a fb pixel after a link click on my landers.. I know zeno talked about it at AMC live @AWA but I missed the presentation..

Are those slides available somewhere? Or if not, can you post the script in here @Zeno

I think all the slides and videos will be available to the gold pass attendees, if I am not mistaken. I missed a lot of sessions as well, so I am also looking forward to catching up on the sessions I missed.

The simplest way to do this is by using Google Tag Manager. There are tutorials on YouTube that can help. It's quite simple. Masking your URL tho...

I am using GTM, are you referring to the "wait for tags" functionality? I am using this, but my fear was that the GTM does not really know what is inside the tag and that the whole javascript pixel is not loaded til the end before redirecting the user to the offer..

But if someone can jump in here and help with the fastest and most reliable way to achieve this I'd be more than happy

Here's the fastest and most reliable way by far:

By using FunnelFlux, you just put your lander in the funnel diagram canvas, then between the click (action 1 in the graph) and the offer, you insert a Javascript node to fire your FB pixel.

No need to edit any page.

For anyone coming to this thread at a later time, this is where you need to go:

As for the AMC.live slides, they will be included in the material for Gold Pass members that we will release shortly. Things are a little delayed with the whole Xmas/NY period that involves everyone traveling around and being on breaks from real work :P

Is this basically cloaking the conversion pixel?

Well, it will show the domain that it was fired on (which will be that of your tracking system). If that's all you want to do then this will achieve that, much like having an intermediary page with a meta refresh.
