Hello Everyone,
Is it a common scenario that you will experience 25% clickloss on average on all your campaigns in propellerads?
I know it is common to have clickloss, but what is the average clickloss % that you are experencing in propellerads?
Thanks !
I believe we do need more info. What tracker are you using? Did you set up the campaign properly? Many many variables to consider..
Click loss can come from double meta refresh (although not that much like you said, 25%), slow server (if you have server in US and running ads in Pakistan), redirect rules and so forth. Every situation needs to be analyzed on a case by case basis. Can't really help without looking at stats myself, but if you dig enough you'll find out the reason. 25% is not rare, it does happen but it's quite at the top of the "click-loss" percentile... Sorry I can't help further
Propeller in terms of clickloss is brutal. Worst in class. When I run carrier only with DMR I have 40%+.
With pop traffic, you should always expect an average of around 10-25% click loss
depending on what type of campaigns you're running and whether it appeals to a broad audience. try split testing with 302 and see if your click loss reduces. DMR runs through 2 redirects and hence you might have lost some visitors there.
Propeller is on the worse side with click loss, but their pops are also usually cheaper across the board compared to other sources with less click loss.
Try to minimize the click loss by using a CDN and so on, look into where it happens and why ... but in the end just look if you're profitable and view the click loss as part of the traffic costs...
For the worst country + traffic source combos I've gotten up to 50% click loss. Other times it's only 10%.
Have only ran 2 GEO-s with them, but yes - both times 25%+ clickloss on propeller to
