DECISIVE - Thieving Bastards! (40)

12-04-2015 02:39 PM #1 ChapstickRu (AMC Alumnus)
DECISIVE - Thieving Bastards!

I am at my wit's end with Decisive.

After they stopped providing traffic, I was promised a refund and its been a month now without any sign of a refund!

They don't answer their emails.

They aren't responsive on here anymore.

They just do not seem to give a flying fuck and I do not know what to do anymore as I have $1000 in there which they are not refunding!

Anybody, please can you help me out here?

Thank you in advance.

That's exactly what I am doing now. Just posted on my Twitter with 200,000 followers and got an instant reply from them. Seems social media is good for something at least

Let's see what happens.

I urge anyone one here to stay away from Decisive and that STM remove the Decisive Mobile Cookbook as it creates false hope and basically just screws the newbies like me who start out with AM.

Imagine pumping $1000 into a traffic network due to a well respected and followed post on STM only to have to deal with this shit.

Kinda leaves a bad taste in one's mouth, especially when you are starting out in AM.

New dudes... stick with Go2Mobi and be happy.

Looks like they are trying to take off with a couple hundred K. Yeah, going as public as possible will probably get the best results in terms of getting a refund.

I realize it happened to a lot of newbies who couldn't afford it, but if you can afford to stomach the loss then its probably best to move on and try to make money elsewhere.

Such a shame really.

Especially the fact that the Cookbook is being soaked up by so many newbies who are being taken for the piss.

@caurmen, please remove the Decisive Mobile Cookbook.

Still no refund after they replied on Twitter saying it will be done. Will keep you guys updated on these pathetic people.

I second this. I didn't lose as much as ChapstickRU, however it was alot to me. This has been a first experience of getting scammed by an online business, and it's quite disappointing.
Please remove the mobile cookbook Caurmen <3

Can you charge back on your credit cards?

12-05-2015 01:46 AM #9 adwater (AMC Alumnus)

Yeah, I also have over 1K there, and no reply so far.

Not sure if Ramneek Kundra still works there though, he was at STM London earlier this year.

Got it. Thanks for the update, everyone. I'll reach out to Decisive today and if I don't hear back from them about how they're going to resolve this situation, we'll take the Decisive cookbook down.

It was on Paypal and it's past the 45 day threshold.

He does work there, but apparently he is on vacation "and they will sort it out ASAP". Quite pathetic really.

Thank you Caurmen. As you have noticed by now, it's not just me that is struggling to get his money back from these idiots and as I mentioned before, as good as the cookbook is, as soon as Newbies push in the recommended $1k and can't get it back, it leaves a severely bitter taste in their mouths regarding AM.

Decisive is about as useful now as a peppermint flavoured suppository.

This is a very unfortunate situation. We at STM are reaching out to our contacts at Decisive to find out more details. Will let everyone know once we hear from them. Please stay tuned...

Same situation here.

My account say "0 credits", I see on November 9th "Account adjustment $187.64", they said Paypal Payment within 7 days and guess what: still nothing here... So I don't know in which account the "adjustement" has been made, but apparently not in mine !

I'm lucky it's not a huge amount but at the very least it's a good sign that we shouldn't trust traffic sources and wire huge amounts there unless we know we'll use it immediately...

I have about $95 left there and I would like it back.

I can't get a response anywhere I try.

Indeed pathetic.

Not sure if @caurmen and the guys have managed to get anything out of these thieves, but it sure as hell would be helpful. Especially since there is a Mobile Cookbook on here telling people to deposit money into this bloody company.

It's beyond me that the Admins on here do not know about this problem. Or is it that they could give a fuck??

12-06-2015 01:02 AM #17 conrad_birdie (Member)

I think the cookbook should be left up but with a disclaimer that Decisive is a no-go traffic source. There is still a lot of valuable insight in there that can be applied to any mobile traffic source.

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

......It's very likely that more than a few people knew of the imminent wave of aff's that would soon be flooding forums with "stuck" money in Decisive . Zeno went as far as to tepidly warn a few posters that it would be best to use a different source. Chances are slim that the Go2Mobi cookbook was baked up quick coincidence !

As far as them "not giving a fuck " ,....that is probably a little heavy handed in that some areas of business carry more risks, and those that are more experienced in their respective businesses' tend to chalk up such instances in the manner of "cost of doing business" or " it's just business " .

12-06-2015 03:40 AM #19 caurmen (Administrator)

We're still trying to get hold of Decisive. No luck yet but it's the weekend - expect to see the Decisive cookbook come down on Mon if we don't hear anything.

We're as much in the dark as you at this point, but we're trying hard to get more info.

Apart from anything else, I have a positive balance in my Decisive account that I'd like back too!

I do agree that here is good information in there for sure, but there is a very similar, if not identical, one for Go2Mobi which people can use. I would then ask that the Decisive Cookbook just be updated with Decisive as the recommended traffic source removed. Dunno, just a thought.

I do agree, but tepidly warning new affliliates who haven't a clue whats "cooking" isn't necessarily the way to go. Having Zeno warn people about this tells me that the mods/admins were fully aware of this issue, but chose not to do anything about it other than warn those who don't know any better.

I must apologise for being a littel heavy handed, but I feel I need to make people aware of what they are getting themselves into and spread the word about Decisive since they are blatantly now just taking the piss and they need to be called out.

Understandable that weekends aren't really the best time to try and get billing departments to reply, however being such a big company that they are, surely one would AT LEAST get some form of response from them.

What about Andrea? The mailbox has been full for ages, which means Andrea has also jumped on the "dont give a fuck anymore" band wagon.

Go get em @caurmen!

UPDATE:

I have received some more feedback from Decisive on Twitter after posting about this problem and having it retweeted a couple 1000 times.

Here's what they are saying:

Seems that it is getting sorted now and I urge everyone with issues to email them or even to Tweet @trydecisive.

As updates happen, I will post them here.

I still believe that having the Decisive Mobile Cookbook up isn't the best thing in my opinion.

I am sorry to say this, but Decisive always have been crap to me and many others. Actually the cookbook helped and was a pain at the same time. In my honest oppinion it should have been taken down a year ago. I think many agree.

12-07-2015 01:01 PM #23 caurmen (Administrator)

@ChapstickRu - that's good to hear. Thanks for the update.

12-08-2015 01:14 AM #24 vortex (Senior Moderator)

We are actively arranging for Decisive reps to respond to this thread. Shouldn't be too much longer now.

Amy

12-08-2015 01:31 AM #25 adwater (AMC Alumnus)

Someone from their team also responded to my tweet yesterday saying they will look into the refund process this week, so we'll see.

12-08-2015 02:54 AM #26 vortex (Senior Moderator)

Yes that's basically the same info I got. I'll try to post more info on how to request for refunds later, but hopefully we'll get a direct response here from a Decisive rep soon.

Awesome. They are at least responsive on Twitter.

Amy
Thank you again.

UPDATE:

I received a direct email from David Dundas (CEO of Decisive) profusely apologizing regarding the delays, etc. He assured me that I will get my refund today.

If anyone would like to contact him directly: david@decisive.is.

Now, here's the interesting part...

An employee of theirs (which I am not going to name out of respect for them) emailed me to let me know that things are not going well there. This employee as well as others have not even received last month's salary.

This is an interesting turn of events and as such I would urge those who are having issues getting their refunds to jump on this right away before things start getting ugly.

yup...don't lessen the pressure just because they sent a nice email with lots of apologies.

I remember EWA even sent fake wire transfer screenshots to keep everyone quiet.

Ok, so still no updates from them or refunds.

Kicking things up a notch now.

BTW, @caurmen, why did you guys remove the Decisive email addresses I posted on here?

This shit is beyond ridiculous now...

12-08-2015 08:46 PM #30 ChapstickRu (AMC Alumnus)

Ok so they have sent me an eCheck to Paypal as a refund.

Takes about 3 - 5 business days to clear, so lets see.

12-17-2015 10:38 AM #31 ashlar (Member)

Just chipping in.

Asked for a refund last week (without reading this, just change of plans). No answer just yet.

12-18-2015 10:16 AM #32 wiifmdude ()

Well the refund I've asked for mid-november is still not here...

so if there is a "queue" let me tell you it should be quite long!!

12-18-2015 02:50 PM #33 caurmen (Administrator)

I've just spoken to David, the CEO of Decisive, and got some solid info from him.

Read about it here: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...ale-On-Refunds
