Hello , i would like to start this post about email marketing deliverability because the most issue for mailers who use there own mta servers is reaching inbox ..
So i invite every body in the industry to post a case study , tips , suggestion , tricks for the most commun ISP's (hotmail , gmail , yahoo, Aol , comcast , verizon...).
i will start this thread by giving you one trick in hotmail :
*How you can know if an IP is warmed and ready to send high quantity ?
Check the message header , the first line , surly you will find one of these 3 cases :
1-x-store-info:4r51+eLowCe79NzwdU2kR3P+ctWZsO+J
when the "x-store-info" start with "4r51+e" (this sentence isn't fix but it keep the same format) that means your ip can't reach inbox yet .
2-x-store-info:sbevkl2QZR7OXo7WID5ZcVBK1Phj2jX/
"x-store-info" start now with "sbev" , that means the ip can reach inbox but hotmail will limit you and convert it's status to spam if you send high volume with it.
in this case you have to proceed to a warm up process to increase you ip delivrability.
3- x-store-info:J++/JTCzmObr++wNraA4PVO18DMe20MIrFImYvIpi+o=
Congratulation your ip is warmed and ready to deliver high quantity , the indicator is "J++".
************************************************** ************************************************** *********
As a professional mailer you have to focus on building your ip reputation first , send a small quantity if the ip is cold (no email history) , send only to your super active data.
That's all for today , waiting for your feedbacks and suggestions.
Nice thats a great tip.
For Content adjusting you can pull from the header on your seed "X-Message-Delivery: Vj0xLjE7dXM9MDtsPTA7YT0wO0Q9MjtHRD0yO1NDTD02"
base64 decode=: V=1.1;us=0;l=0;a=0;D=2;GD=2;SCL=6
SCL=6 Spam Score Level =6
Lower the score the better. 6 was in the spam folder. Probably look for 0-2 to stay inbox.
