Hey guys. I am a newbie here and wanna know about the pin submit offers. do i need to make a landing page before i promote a mobile pin submit offers??? and another thing is which ad platform gave you the best results when you promote this types of offers?? please help me by giving best advice and your own experience. Thank you in advance.
Hi,
You dont "need" to make a LP but its recommended that you do. Create your own LPs and split test them against the use of no LP and see the results. A LP isnt a must but can certainly help.
There are quite a few traffic sources. I think Exoclick is a good option.
hey thanx affiliaxeoran for your good advice.
There is nothing like the "BEST" platform for everything. AFF business requires a lot of testing and one of the reasons is that every platform stands out in something else and you will need to figure this out on your own.
There also isnt a clear answer to whether using a LP will boost your revenue or not. Especially with PIN submits, very often a direct link without an LP works better for me than using a LP, there seems to be a relationship between the GEO I run in and the effect of the landing page, in some GEOs its usually better with an LP and in some GEOs its better to link directly.
You also need to consider one thing, since PIN submits are based on carrier billing, always check with your aff manager whether its even allowed to use a LP, surprisingly some carriers literaly forbid the use of it.
As a base rule : I always split test with and LP and without it, in every GEO where I start, always!!!!
As for traffic sources that work best with PIN submits, again there isnt an answer for this, but what you need from the source is the ability to target carriers and be able to cut placements, ideally on a spot level so not just domain.
For pin submits, I know that pop traffic (zeropark, popads etc.) and mobile display traffic (go2mobi, inmobi, etc.) will both work.
Based on personal experience, a lander has always been necessary to make these types of offers convert well enough to profit. I like to start by testing ripped landers until I find one or more that have potential, then make versions of them to test - until I'm either close to or at break-even, then cut placements that don't meet the ROI I want (>30%) until the campaign is at a healthy ROI.
That's it in a nutshell! Feel free to start a follow-along if you'd like more specific feedback. Have fun!
