I had set a goal to be profitable by mid Nov to justify a trip to BKK for AWA. Turns out I'm SOL... (I'm very upset I cannot attend, it might have been life changing)
With renewed focus, I begin this follow along determined to forge success.
STRATEGY
I had a few conversions with a FreeLotto offer in ZA, but I wanted an evergreen niche, so I chose the newb friendly dating vertical.
Traffic: ZeroPark pops (I also have POF and ExoClick accounts)
Geo: UK, ZA
Offers: Any mobile, casual dating offer in PeerFly, ClickDealer
(Note: I've since done some recon and hear PINs, Sweeps, App DL are running well. Should I try my hand at dating or move to one of PINs/Sweeps/Apps now?)
CREATIVES
I had been approaching campaigns (like FreeLotto) by choosing an offer, brainstorming angles, generating a bunch of creatives, and planning to optimize from there (never got to optimize, not enough CV). With Dating I decided to focus time on collecting and testing a lot of offers. So I chased down a mobile dating LP, made a few changes, and set up
RESULTS
Day 1 (yesterday)

Day 2
After no conversions, I did my best to improve the LP last night and am split testing the old and new today. This is how the LP has evolved. (The images rotate and there's progress bar and CTA button after the questions are answered.)

I want to carve out my first successful campaign. I think it was Charles Ngo (I've done so much reading, it's a blur) who said something along the lines of "Successful Campaigns aren't found, they're made". I believe this is true.
I know I'm not doing enough yet. I don't know which effort is the best place to invest my time. More Angles? More LP styles? Does my ad copy suck? Is ZeroPark adult mobile pops bad for dating, try POF/ExoClick? I want to give dating the ol' college try before choosing PINs/Sweeps/Apps for the vertical I'll master.
I want this to be my life. I want to fly to BKK and buy Finch a pint. I want to be so indebted to caurmen's wisdom I have no choice but to offer him my firstborn son. I don't want to miss another AWC!
Any advice on how to get my head out of my arse and into the green is welcome and most appreciated.
I think with pop you can try more landers than 3...Also all three landers have the same layout. I would switch it up...Also you can display a city' parameter where it says 'current location. Normally the landers you see on tube sites don't work well for pop.

Ok I created a new Lander. I spent most of a day gutting code and rewriting jQuery. Here's what I ended up with (showing first page and last):

This was tested against the best LP from the OP. Results:
CLICKS: 2 (both from the newest LP)
CONVERSIONS: None
So far I'm just ripping landers, drudging through code, tweaking some imagery and some lame ad copy. I need to do more...
Hi
Is amazing to see your determination to set new targets and plan how to achieve them.
Now, about the campaigns, in my opinion, you should aim to get some original angles, test numerous combinations of banners with your LPs and continuously adjust your creatives until you find the 'winners'.
As a general note, LPs designed in the spirit of the offer's page might improve results making the flow for your traffic more natural.
Here are my remarks for the last LPs you attached :
- Try to use shorter sentences/less text. For instance, in the right side LP (pink shirt) the text box covers a lot from the image and in my opinion, makes it less effective. Moreover, the 'register now' you have it on the button so no need to use it one line above, as well.
- Not sure if it's a must, but if not, I think you should leave the age query for a later stage like the form the user might be required to fill on the offer page itself.
Good luck and keep thinking big !
