Should I go for a paid traffic for a $1.50 CPA?

Hey i am a new comer to this pretty awesome forum called stackthatmoney. i have an account in adworkmedia. I found a lot of offers there but i know that there are more networks which have cool offers including high payouts. but whenever i applied for those networks as a publisher, i rejected. whatever, i managed to approve myself in JvZoo and adworkmedia. i planned to work with a CPA offer that has a payout of only $1.50. it is an email submit offers. I am not sure whether i should go for paid campaign or free campaign.
Another thing is i have choose a product (web software) from JvZoo that will basically work for graphic designers. I know how to create landing pages, tracking and all that things i need set up before running a campaign but confused about the traffic sources. how to promote them. which traffic may work better for this type of product. how to get cheap but effective paid traffic. thats all. can you please show me the path?? :-). Thank you in advance.

One thing that's very important to keep in mind when choosing a traffic source, is the intent of the visitors. To promote something "niche" and specific like graphics design software, you'll need to run on sources that will allow you to target very specific people.

This means pop traffic is out because visitor intent is not there. Mobile display traffic is also out for the same reason (traffic is too broad). Adult - unrelated, so also out.

Facebook - MAYBE, and that's IF you can target the right demographic.

For something that specific, the only type of suitable traffic I could think of is search traffic - Adwords, Bing, etc.

Hope that at least partly answers your question!
