Bing CTR (9)

Bing CTR - y u no take money :(

I've been scrutineering one of my accounts from last year on Bing. What I don't understand is how I went from 20% + CTR to 3% virtually overnight. Nothing I do on this account can see me do an overall 10+

I mean really? I cant suck that badly at writing ads.

Could the account be flagged? Ofcorse I was cloaking (but im yet to lose an acocunt)

Any suggestions?

Maybe you got outbid and are now not in the top position?

Nooooo. There is no comp here... trust me.

I have some experience with adwords from years back, but none from Bing.

A good way I know of to make ads perform better, is to put every keyword in its separate ad group, and then customize the ad for just that keyword. That way each ad is super-relevant to the search term. And if you include the keyword in the title and body, they'll appear in bold when the visitor sees your ad after typing in the keyword, which will grab attention like nothing else.

As for whether or not you suck at writing ads - could you maybe post some examples?

Hey Amy,

I've actually tested those 1 keyword ad groups and found in this case they performed a little more poorly to my shotgun approach.

May be meanwhile, bing added more "partner sites"

I run them separately

It is just me or has bing bumped their Cpc prices a little?

I've gotten the cpc up by bidding higher and keeping my keywords very broad. Certain kw are sitting between 12 and 5 %. My lp ctr sat at 28% yesterday which I think was pretty decent.

If only the offer converted a little better though.
