Contacting Advertisers Directly

Hi everyone

Apologies if there is a thread on this already, couldn't find one. I've been working with an offer for a while, doing good volume and I'd like to hit them up directly - take the relationship to the next level so to speak.

I've tried googling the company, linkedin, a couple of reverse IP lookups and contacting their consumer email address but no luck so far.

Anyone have any advice as to any other methods of finding who is behind the offer?

Thanks!

Shoot me the link and I'll see what I can do! No promises though, they are likely ghosts on purpose.

How long has it been since you contacted the consumer email?

This is a tough one. All domains are hiding behind cloudflare DNS, meaning 1000s of other domains have the same IP/DNS and their registrar addresses are private, they should however be forwarded to real emails (so worth contacting, or did this one bounce?). I've sent you a pm with the email.

The company I work for has some fancy tools that picked up data on this URL 2 years ago via an offer running on FB. I'll send you a PM with more details on this.

millerdona,

Most companies don't want to work direct with affiliates as it adds an extra element to the mix. They would rather let the networks deal with any issues or problems that happen between affiliates and campaigns. That being said; you should talk to your affiliate manager of that offer and ask for a rate increase. I mean if you have been doing so well with the offer then i would assume the quality is high so the merchant should have no issue giving you a higher rate!

Keep it up!

The best method I've found (as lame and unsystemic that it is....) is networking, and knowing others in the industry.

If you really want to get to know the advertisers, run that particular niche for an extended period of time, and over time, through conferences, meetups, conversations, you'll start to be introduced to advertisers.

Once you reach that point, theres generally one or two degrees of separation between all the offer owners in the particular niche.
