Are Advertotials allowed on Facebook?

I'm promoting a safe supplement and was wondering if an Advertorial would be ok. I checked the guidelines but didn't find any mention of it in there.

what do you mean by "safe supplement". If it's diet, advertorial won't last too much on fb unless you are cloaking them.
And they know that advertorials it's a bad sign and a call for aff&adv, so it's better to find an angle and cloak the source.

PS: not everything is written in the guidelines...

Well, I'm assuming that it's safe due to them approving dozens of previous ads and my AM telling that it was. It's actually a probiotic.

I'll just find an angle and keep it clean. Thanks for the response!

Yes it's safe to run advertorials on FB, just have the proper disclaimers and be compliant.... and you're good to go

Unless they changed their tune, according to Facebook's advertising guidelines, promoting supplements is allowed.

"Supplements: Ads that promote acceptable dietary and herbal supplements may only target users who are at least 18 years of age."

Of course, what is considered acceptable is the issue.

It should be fine. However if it was me I'd cloak with something more valuable to FB's audience. The most important thing is keeping your FB account clean, advertorials have been given a pretty bad reputation by all the flog/rebillers.

Thanks for all of the input! I tested the advertorial and the ctr on it sucked. My basic lander performed much better. It has me at break-even so, I guess I'll tweak that one to see if I can turn a profit.
