AM Landers versus Offer Landers

Hi there,

Newbie quistion again!

I am manualy spying a bit and see a lot of AM Landers and Offer landers. Now i saw a youtube vid about a Sweepstakes and the Affiliate Marketeer is saying about a few good Banners and landing pages. And one of the landing pages of this Affiliate Marketeer seems almost the same as the one i saw from a offer....

Is this possible because then i dont need to make a lander and i can just make banners only if i have a good offer like that?

Never ever settle. If you think you've found the best Lander, you haven't it. It can always, always be improved.
That said you should always have something running, so you have a benchmark to compare your next landing page design with.

The only exception is when you have a very high budget, new offers, and testing money to throw away

I'm not entirely sure what kind of lander you're talking about, but I'm going to guess here.

There are advertisers that are more skilled at converting visitors (perhaps they were affiliates themselves?), that will build offers that COME WITH prelanders - or what we just call landers. For this type of offers, yes, you can just use banners.

Having said that - you should still trigger a conversion yourself by signing up / subscribing to the offer to experience the entire conversion process, and figure out how you could potentially improve the funnel with your own pre-prelander in order to further increase conversions.

Hint: Try a page with a simple background with an entry popup that, when the visitor clicks on it, will redirect them to the offer. Of course, the ad text you put on the entry pop is what will make a difference.

Thanks @vortex / Amy... Very usefull! And because i am doing POP a POP UP Banner just before the "simple background with an entry popup" right?

Thanks @Vortex... So i create a pop up... someone press the pop up and it sends them to the landing page with a entry pop up right?
