So I've been using Facebook Ads for a while now but I always have issues when I create a new account.
So I created an ad account from my fathers Facebook account, 2 minutes later the account got locked, and I had to pass through a checkpoint to verify that the account was not hacked.
After the checkpoint Facebook wanted to change password so why not.
Then they required an ID verification so they can approve the Ad Account. So I sent them an ID verification and they approved it and un-limited the account.
But the ads still doesn't want to start. I know that there is a hidden review on new accounts but that usually lasts 5-8 hours, it's been 30 hours and ads still doesn't want to start. I've launched this campaign before with bids on auto, so the reach is enough.
Anyone experienced this problem before?
Just give it more time and launch more ads. FB is a bit crazy this past couple of days.
Yeah keep resubmitting new ads until it starts spending. Check every 3-5 hrs to see if it has started spending or not. If not, resubmit new ads and check back later.
Are you using power editor?
I notice all of my adverts are on "pending approval" in PE even though on "Facebook" I have a notification that they are approved and even, a few hours in, that "people are starting to respond"...yet on PE they still say pending with just dashes where the data should be.
I think PE doesn't get updated. I even did a support ticket with them (they don't make it easy do they?) when the PE was still saying pending 5 days into an ad.
Account started to spend today :, I was a bit scared, this usually took like 4-5 hours on average but 2 days this time
Thought I add in my issue here instead strating a new thread.
Same scenario. New ad on a barely used facebook account. Started with $5/day and got 45 impressions, then raised the budget to $200/day. No impressions thereafter. The ads still says "Active" thou. I know it went into manual review. The status should have changed to"In Review". Anyhow, should I wait or resubmit new ads?
Increasing from $5 to $200/day is not really recommended. The risk is to see "Your ads account has recently been flagged because of unusual activity"
How do I contact support to resolve this?
Ad account is banned.
Hi guys, how do u create a new identity that Facebook will allow to advertse.
I tried setting up an account recently and Facebook would not allow me to use it for advertising purposes. Should I just continue to submit ads as fbqueen suggested?
Thanks. Johno
