I was promoting a dating offer on my old facebook account and it got banned after a while.
Now I created a new Account (first new personal acc, then business manager acc). I will only promote total white hat stuff, BUT I also want to promote a fanpage that was used in the banned account.
The fanpage itself is clean, but I used it for promoting the dating offer (the field where you have to select a fanpage to promote a website URL, that's where the fanpage was used). I got banned because of the URL, but I assume FB connected the fanpage (even tho its super clean) with that banned URL.
Will this be a red flag? Should I create a new fanpage? What if I create a new fanpage and merge it with the old one?
The fact that you are anxious about it being a red flag means you should probably not use it.
It's a pretty obvious connection and I don't see the advantage to bringing it with you, unless it has a million fans.
I have 100% the same experience, I was promoting Dating offers on 2013, and I get my account banned
I get new account and I start again but this time no dating offers and I try to respect 100% facebook ads and now spending on my new account more than $500k and have more than 2 years with no issue and I use it to BOOST post on my old page with no issue.
