Hello,
I have been sending leads (PPL) to a dating network for a year. I average +- 150 leads by day.
Base payout: 4$
My Payout: 4.5$
After two months I asked for a 1$ pay bump. They gave me ,50$
After 4 months, I asked for another one. They said no.
After 6 months: I asked again, same answer.
Do you think I should stop all traffic and ask again?
If it wasn't profitable for them, they would simply ask me to stop the traffic...
Any advises for me?
Thank you!
1. Go to odigger.com and offervault.com and check out if another network is offering the same offer at a higher pay out.
If yes, then get in touch with them and send them screenshots of what you're currently doing and say you'll give them 25% of the current traffic if they beat the pay out with at least 1$. They'll do it. If you build up trust with them and get paid on time for a few weeks in a row, then I would gradually switch more traffic to the other network
2. I would play open card on this with your current network. They will not want to lose you and once they see you switching traffic, i'm 100% sure they'll bump your payout straight away.
If you are a big affiliate for them (+500$ a day for weeks in a row), you have more negotation power than you think. Of course if they say "no" and you keep on sending the same amounts of traffic, they dont have an incentive to bump your pay out. You have to get them a reason to give you the pay increase.
Best thing you can always do though is split your traffic amont different networks, not only for the above two mentioned reasons, but also - and most importantly - to compare eCPC/eCPMC between two/three networks + to spreak your financial risk. Remember the Millonaire network a few years ago?
there are few reasons i can think of regarding why the answer was no. probably they dont want to harm their margin or they already gave you the best rate they can.
never the less, you can always play the game were you drop your volume but take in mind that if you play that game and the rate still wont be changed what are your options now, stop for good or return the traffic back and lose any leverage you might had.
one thing i can tell you is that - you said "If it wasn't profitable for them, they would simply ask me to stop the traffic..." same thing basically apply on you too if it wasn't profitable for you you would simply stop the campaign.
You can still leverage your traffic on that offer to get better payouts on other offers that you might running or want to run but payout is a bit low.
and take in mind that "cbrughmans" 2 pointers are Gold, use them Wisely
As always @cbrughmans great pointers! and to be completely honest I agree.
Once you have applied these tips, do take into account its not always a "margins game", sometime networks are already offering the best pay they can and you need to take into consideration other variables such as performance (as mentioned by cbrughmans), platform use (useful setups, tools, user interface, stats visibility etc), and account management. Basically a network should not "play" with you, it should be based on numbers and the logic between your partnership; variables such as the quality of your traffic, volume, revenue you generate etc. Open the conversation with these "facts" and see how it goes, the objective is to allow an open dialogue always.
Thanks a lot for the good tips.
I don't use a CPA network, I deal directly with the sponsor. No network have this offer.
I will put cards on table and see how it goes
you can always try of course... but if they're at the max they can pay, they're at the max they can pay!
Any interest in rebrokering that offer to us (since you have it exclusively we would be interested in this)?
